Does anyone kno if IWS+1 x3 is easier on stick cause I am having th hardest time doing it on pad
it depends on what you want
tiger kneeing the motion is preferred which is easier on stick
what i do on pad is hadoken motion for that combo
its not the preferred option but the transition is easier
Hmm… iWS1 is one of those things that is possible a blue million different ways.
BUT on a pad QCF~n1 is probably the easier way to go about it.
You can even do QCB~n1 to get it.
d~f~n1 and d~f~uf+1 are the fastest ways to get it though.

Ugh… freakin issues posting is making me mad
Alright kool thanks for the info guys. I think I am just not doing the QCF quick enough
Explain what’s happening. I can more than likely figure out what you’re doing wrong.
Basically when I do it the IWS+1 is coming out but it never hits cause its 2 slow and when i try to do it faster it comes out as u/f+1. The way I am trying to do it right now is QCF~u/f +1
Okay, well if you’re getting a u/f+1 you’re buffering some of the movement. NONE of the movement can be buffered. Basically you are doing a her forward roll then canceling it with uf+<button> IF you try and buffer it the roll won’t come out. THUS you get u/f+1. Think about it like this. VERY VERY fast input of the qcf~u/f+1 BUT a delay between each input.
The iWS1 section of the Tekken 6 Nina Bible should help you! MOST of the information from T6 carries over for TTT2.
Great info as always Galen. Kudos
I’ve been able to do ws1 reps a lot better after upgrading to the Crown cwj lever. I believe the main difference from the Sanwa jlf is because the lever hits the directional inputs faster and it rolls off easier for me since it’s an octogate.

Your sanwa has an octogate? Honestly now what i have played on Korean sticks i don’t think I could go back to a Japanese lever even if it had a perfect 360 gate
 Great guide, Galen.
TZ and its users are stepping it up recently with lots of updated information compiled intelligently in an easy-to-digest format. Great stuff.
I"m using the Crown now, The Sanwa was the stock square gate configured in all the TEs. The few extra milliseconds of time that the crown neutrals probably makes a difference overall since I react a certain way after I see the end of Nina’s arm swing from ws1 lol.
It’s weird but the korean lever made a big enough of an impact for me.
I hope Korean levers take over. I mod a fanta into everything I get
So, how would I go about making combos for a team of Nina/Lars? I’ve learnt the solo’s for both, but I don’t know what moves and enders I should be doing when TA is involved.
I’ve scoured TZ but I cant’ find any concrete answers, hopefully by asking on a smaller board I can get a better response.
When did you ask on tz?
Anyway your TA is going to directly depend on what combo you use with your point character. What combo are you using with Lars and what combo are you using with Nina?
On youtube look for Only Practice. He is a Korean player who uses Nina/Lars I think there r some his matches on the first page of this thread some of his combos r harder than most tho.
I know it least for nina
you dont need to tag assault that much
she can do like upper 80s or low 90s with solo combos
really most times you tag assault it should be at the wall
with lars if you use nina for tag assault for a low amount of hits pre bound you use df 3,2,3
for around 5 hits of more you should use ss1, f2
though someone else here would have a sharper idea of what you do i think
