Deadpool Movie Thread

Or have enough of a budget to get Taskmaster as a goddamn cold open. Hype as hell fight at the start to wake people the fuck up to DEADPOOL II.

They can’t anymore. They wouldn’t cough up the money to have the character appear in the movie and now he’s back with Marvel. The next Cap movie or Agents of Shield will likely be where Taskmaster will pop up.

It does exist, I just don’t believe it does for Cable.

The Xmen Origins game was great on PS3 & 360 (the M rated versions) Bloody, gruesome exactly what a Wolverine game should’ve been. Only started to suck towards the end when it started bringing in elements from the movie.

John Cena really has no business doing actual acting.

True, however any movie he’s in would be guaranteed to go over. :coffee:

(ā€œGo overā€ what? A cliff?)

So glad to see that we’re back to Cable: The Search for the Perfect Husband already rather than talking about the movie itself.

Of the people that have been mentioned so far, I think either Kevin Nash or Stephen Lang would do well enough despite the obvious size difference between them and Lang being the better (actual) actor between the two. I don’t really care though at present, being more concerned with what other characters get in–give me Keira Knightley Cable for all I care if it means Domino or Bob or Marrow getting in; it would be funny if Keira Knightley got cast as Domino, actually, especially since she starred in a movie with that exact same name. [/actually somewhat dislikes Keira Knightley]

I can’t say I’m surprised to see this is the case. Oh well. At least this means that Taskmaster might show up in one of the Avengers movies or Captain America movies. I wonder if he might even show up in Civil War given he’s a mercenary. I can’t really think of any other MCU movie he’d appear in presently unless they finally give in and do a Black Widow movie (or Hawkeye movie), in which case he’d make a more than decent antagonist to either of them; one could only hope, though, that if they do use him, then they don’t kill him off, at least in the first time that he appears.

Still, Taskmaster appearing in a Deadpool movie would have been nice. I guess maybe Mr. X would be a decent substitute though unless they’re going to outright try to use Black Swan.

Wolverine is supposed to be 5’3". Hugh Jackman is 6’2". Who the fuck cares?

Which is why no matter how much I appreciate Hugh Jackman’s portrayal, I hope whoever they get to play him after he’s done is closer to Logan’s actual height.

Hugh’s giant frame messes up what makes Wolverine great from a physical standpoint. He’s named after an animal that is small, extremely ferocious with strength much more than its size would suggest

He’s only 5’3" but you’d shit your pants if you saw him in an dark alley.

I always found it funny that the only time I ever died was from the shitty platforming.

what about dolph lundgren as Cable?

In Russia

Maybe they thought the dude in the red suit was Omega Red.

I hope we get omega red and true silver samurai in wolverine 3

FUCKING YES!

I also think this. I mean they mentioned it in the scene and he’d be fine. He’s big enough and the right age to do it. Famous enough for the genre to have pull, and can act well enough to play a guy like cable. He can definitely pull off the look if they throw all the cyber shit on him and the future armor.

I mean, he’s 6’5 not 6’8 but it’s the closest i could think of

He’s taller and bulkier than Ryan Reynolds, that’s all that matters. they can more than bullshit a few extra inches on there.

dolph could work but then you have the problem of dolph being too dolph-looking and cable forever being ruined and looking like dolph lol

can dolph bulk up enough to be cable tho
