They canāt anymore. They wouldnāt cough up the money to have the character appear in the movie and now heās back with Marvel. The next Cap movie or Agents of Shield will likely be where Taskmaster will pop up.
The Xmen Origins game was great on PS3 & 360 (the M rated versions) Bloody, gruesome exactly what a Wolverine game shouldāve been. Only started to suck towards the end when it started bringing in elements from the movie.
So glad to see that weāre back to Cable: The Search for the Perfect Husband already rather than talking about the movie itself.
Of the people that have been mentioned so far, I think either Kevin Nash or Stephen Lang would do well enough despite the obvious size difference between them and Lang being the better (actual) actor between the two. I donāt really care though at present, being more concerned with what other characters get ināgive me Keira Knightley Cable for all I care if it means Domino or Bob or Marrow getting in; it would be funny if Keira Knightley got cast as Domino, actually, especially since she starred in a movie with that exact same name. [/actually somewhat dislikes Keira Knightley]
I canāt say Iām surprised to see this is the case. Oh well. At least this means that Taskmaster might show up in one of the Avengers movies or Captain America movies. I wonder if he might even show up in Civil War given heās a mercenary. I canāt really think of any other MCU movie heād appear in presently unless they finally give in and do a Black Widow movie (or Hawkeye movie), in which case heād make a more than decent antagonist to either of them; one could only hope, though, that if they do use him, then they donāt kill him off, at least in the first time that he appears.
Still, Taskmaster appearing in a Deadpool movie would have been nice. I guess maybe Mr. X would be a decent substitute though unless theyāre going to outright try to use Black Swan.
Which is why no matter how much I appreciate Hugh Jackmanās portrayal, I hope whoever they get to play him after heās done is closer to Loganās actual height.
Hughās giant frame messes up what makes Wolverine great from a physical standpoint. Heās named after an animal that is small, extremely ferocious with strength much more than its size would suggest
Heās only 5ā3" but youād shit your pants if you saw him in an dark alley.
I also think this. I mean they mentioned it in the scene and heād be fine. Heās big enough and the right age to do it. Famous enough for the genre to have pull, and can act well enough to play a guy like cable. He can definitely pull off the look if they throw all the cyber shit on him and the future armor.
