Going to see it tomorrow. Howās my wife Morena aka Inara (such a beautiful name) in this? Is she good?
IMO she has good lines and chemistry with Reynolds and obviously looks hot.
Her part is mostly as love Wadeās love interest, so not much action from her.
Re-read Deadpool/Death Annual 98 after watching the movie.
Thatās definitely the influence.
[details=Spoiler]But was hoping for this death after I realized Ajax was the villain.
Also would have been neat if Ajax went out and murdered a bunch of Department K mutants like he did in the comics.

Deadpool was a great time, I am so glad someone filled the much needed gap of ultra violent valentineās day romantic comedy.
Who the hell is Bob?
Ryan Reynolds interviews Hugh Jackman
I have no idea who she is in the comics, but based solely on the movie, the amount of toughness was appropriate from her. She didnāt come off as overly cocky, but not exactly a helpless damsel in distress. For that kind of role and the amount of dialogue she had outside of her romantic scenes, they did a very good job. Her character had depth and it showed.
LOL AT THAT INTERVIEW
So Fox is gonna go with an R rating for the third Wolverine movie. About damn time.
(It would be funny if the only thing that changed with giving the third Wolverine movie an R rating is if Fox shot his inevitable nude scenes full frontal rather than being forced to shoot his ass to preserve a PG-13 rating; letās not act like a bunch of desperate people havenāt been salivating for that.)
So, I saw this movie yesterday with two people, and I immensely enjoyed it, with it ending up being even better than I was expecting despite generally not having high hopes for anything. Given that I could go on and on about what I enjoyed, especially given I laughed hard enough to be in tears at least twice, but Iāll try and keep this genuinely short given that I have a tendency to be long-winded. As such, Iāll just say that thereās an extreme amount of meta-humor around this movie, even ignoring all of fourth-wall breaking, in that it both manages to represent the X-Men better than pretty much all of the X-Men movies despite being limited to just two of them (because the studio wouldnāt dish money for more) and manages to be better romantic movie with more genuine, non-manipulative feeling than most romantic movies, especially ārom-comsā, could ever hope to be. I could sworn I heard a few people sniffling behind me after Wade was diagnosed with cancer even though the movie wasnāt overly dramatic about it unlike other movies that would readily milk the fuck out of that type of tragedy.
Iād gladly see it again, especially if someone else wanted too, and Iām glad to see that itās doing as well as it should despite being prepared for it to fail given people are generally idiots though.
For the record, Deadpool breaking his hands and right leg on Colossus and then the Hugh Jackman mask underneath his actual mask at the very end are what made me laugh hard enough to tear up. With regards to the former, physical comedy almost never makes me laugh that hard, but Deadpool still quipping during the futility of it due to sheer rage just broke me, especially when he called Professor X a Heavenās Gate-looking motherfucker, which is even funnier because of how accurate it actually is; Colossus replying (with sincerity) to Negasonic Teenage Warhead that the mansion blowing up every other weekāor was it every couple of years?āactually makes it even funnier, in hindsight.
If nothing else, can we all agree that this film has one of the best opening credits in general?
So Fox is gonna go with an R rating for the third Wolverine movie. About damn time.
Doesnāt mean the movie will be good because of it.

Yes he sure does. My problem with Stephen Lang is that heās 5ā11" and not quite the towering man of muscle that Cable is. Heād have to bulk up quite a bit to get there and even then heād be noticeably shorter than Ryan Reynolds is, unless they put him in platform boots or something, and even then youāre not gonna make him look like a giant without some serious movie magic. Kevin Nash is the right size, the right height, and heās no stranger to movies.
Who started the idea to cast Keira Knightly as Cable? Was it just that digital artist? Or did the officials actually joke about it?

Yeah I think that was just BossLogic.
