Someone on FSD mentioned early reports of the netcode being ass. Might be because there isn’t enough people to connect to but I hope that isn’t the case. I may want to pick this game up.

Dear lord, alot of these Kokoro scenes were hilarious. The Jann Lee and Kokoro epic fail was especially hilarious since it was a pure parody from DoA 4 cutscene of Jann Lee and Hayabusa where it was epic win

Ive been fiddlin’ with it a bit. Cant comment on it to much competitively wise. But I will say IMO music wise, and stage wise. Its the worst of all the games. All the music is pretty bland and there isnt one song that ive even remotely can find myself humming… Which is kinda a bummer cuz doa always had quite a few nice songs that I can recall… The stages themselves are pretty crazy… but in general… there just not that “cool” if that makes sense…
Seems to be a lot of unlisted moves that I can see as well. A good example being akiras gaurd break combo is not in the commands but you can do it. The story is silly… but I guess I wasnt expecting anything there…
Also on a bizare note, some moves actually seem to do less damage now if you knock off a cliff with it then if you hit with it normally… 0_o Ill assume that is a error that is going to be fixed.
Anywho it is what it is… IMO I think still DOA2/hardcore/ultimate were teh best ones fun wise at least… Who can say for this one tournament sorta wise at this point shrug…
I’m sort up in the air about this game right now. Mainly because I’ve been playing so much VFFS lately and don’t really want to pick up another fighter, but DoA5 is pretty much the closest thing I would get to a VF game. That and that MMA fighter Mila looks pretty damn interesting to play. I may just pick it up just for the hell of it though.

Yeah so the thread over at freestepdodge is blowing up with complaints of the online. Apparently is ass and people are hoping for a day 1 patch. Shame, this game was looking pretty good too.

Is netcode KoF 13 level unplayable? Funny since in DoA 4 even with interactive avatar lobbies i still found the games pretty playable. Be a shame if this is all a step backwards. Lets see how this all pans out on day 1 release. Luckily i play more local then online so it won’t affect me too much either way, but it would be annoying that i can;t play online when i feel like doing so on a late night
Some good news for Team Ninja in regards of Sales in America. The Xbox 360 CE at Gamestops are officially out of stock. Apparently the PS3 CE version is still available although i won’t be surprise that Gamestops says those are out of stock as well since Rikuto confirms that his gamestop his out of stock on PS3 CE
