I think Helena, Lisa/La Mariposa and Zack. I think Brad is a little better this time around. Mid-low tier. (once again according to DrDogg, although he doesn’t say things very clearly so it’s 50% guessing what he means)

Here’s hoping they don’t decide to nerf the VF characters later on. Last I checked, the general opinion was that the VF characters are where the rest of the cast should be.

Even if they could, they’d only be able to nerf the damage. Any frame data or move changes they have to clear with the bureaucracy of Sega.
just means the VF cast will be were all the ninjas were in the last game i highly doubt they would agree to a term with sega that would shackle them after the bad press they got from people hating NG3, they really cant fuck up right about now

The only fighters I’ve ever like from VF are Kage Maru and I immediately dropped him for Goh.
DoA has the better, brighter cast by far.
It’s gonna be tough getting into this game if my main really is low tier.
But whatever, I always stick to using my favorite over top tier.

I just want to say that while we’re discussing VF X DOA… if it happens, Ryo Hazuki definitely needs to be in. They have teased this prospect already, I want to see it.
His taunts could be Shenmue dialog. “Would you like to play Lucky Hit?” “Did you see a car that day?” “I’m looking for someone who can speak the Chinese language.” “What can you tell me about the Four Wude?”, etc.
Actually, you don’t need to get all of the titles. I’m unsure of the number but I was told it’s not all titles, though she is unlocked through receiving titles. The achievement I believe is for unlocking Alpha 152 AND receiving all of the titles.

I don’t think there really needs to be a VFxDOA since both games already have the same types of characters. I do like the VF character designs better though, for the most part (El Blaze is a nicer Lisa, Vanessa is a nicer Mila, Wolf a nicer Bass, etc). But if you could knock people off of buildings or through walls in VF stages instead of all of them resulting in a ringout, it’d be a hell of a lot more entertaining. So… Yeah, sure, VFxDOA, let’s do that.
