He looks to have a lot of highs in his strings, so once players learn to recognize what coming, they can kill a lot of that noise with a good high-crushing character.
I watched some of the IGN-IPL vids, Hitomi looks incredibly strong
She gets you against the wall with a few combinations and your health is gone bye-bye.
The game is a lot of fun to watch, I certainly can’t wait to play it!

Not my call. Honestly, it depends on alot of factors. Popular demand, etc.
^^ Slim to none are the odds I say. To many people spouting DoA hate without ever playing the series or knowing the problems from the last game, just copy cating what “insert person who makes my decisions that I follow because I think they are cool thinks”
Maybe I haven’t visited the right sections, but aside from the boob jokes, I haven’t heard much badmouthing about doa5
But shit on forums and stream chat isn’t as important as actual tournament numbers.
Consider this, GVN Summer Jam’s DOA5 tournament had to be capped at 128 entrants, even though more people wanted to join. That’s for a game that isn’t even out and for a meager $500 pot.
I’m waiting for release before I make any assumptions. KOF 13 surprised me, and I felt like an idiot for not giving it a chance earlier.

D3v – totally agree, I’ve been a watching this page and others to dig up all the goods I can on this game and I must say it is shaping up to be quite cool. If the online is nice and stable, DLC being free with tons of content already there to unlock. I think it’ll be a sleeper hit, ‘sleeper’ because of the slander it gets and the fact Tag2 will be out as well.
With that said. Mila looks more like a gator rastlor than a boxer to me. Seems to have more of a cage fighter grappler stance – then again that could be the end of her hold animation we are seeing. Hard to tell anything about her style based on a screen grab but it is really cool to see her finally! She reminds me of Asuka Kazama (really just the short hair, haha)
Helena looks just dandy with the spectale devices and outfit. Kasumi just seems off wearing a french-ish outfit and being Japanese. I’m hoping for some Harajuku outfits or something!
EDIT* I wanted to add, its so nice to just see the character’s health bars, round dots and timer. Feels old school to have such a mundane interface. I’ve gotten use to meters stacked on meters and guages next to meters etc., lol!
SO Mila is a boxer? I suppose we don’t have a straight up boxer yet in this game. Zack is a kick boxer. Any videos of her yet?

I feel bad for putting Akira on the back burner. Especially after all that work I put into learning him after wanting to troll the hell out of people with him on this game.
God-@%$& it… I shouldn’t buy this game yet, but I probably am. I still haven’t canceled my newegg pre-order so I might just get my cheaper version of the game instead of CE. It’s just…the game keeps getting better and better. I’ll still pass my classes, but my gpa…oh well.
Yeah…I probably just wont get the CE. As much as I love scantily clad women, I never use those outfits so the bikinis are useless to me, unless there’s a model viewer and I’m bored; it still amazes me that even though I hate Helena’s bathing suit, she still looks astounding in it. The Soundtrack is hit or miss, though mostly hit. And the steel case doesnt look all that hot. The only thing that I could really use is the artbook, but I dont think its worth almost $40 more (yay $47.99). I’ll definitely need to see pics.
