I decided to hold off on buying this; however, it is through no fault of this game or team ninja. I just have too many unfinished games and a lot on my plate this semester (graduating, yay). I’ll be sure to pick up this game once my schedule clears up though. Seeing Helena and not being able to play her yet…will hurt ;_;
That being said, does anyone know a streamer that plans to focus on doa? I should have enough time for that…and occasional sg or sf matches.
I think some guys at FSD are planning to set up some streams.

Helena has been leaked by Famitsu. Gameplay should come soon. Although it’s been rumoured to be a low tier character along with Lisa (so maybe Brad is not so bad this time around)…
She could be bottom tier for all I care, makes winning that much better.
Glad to finally see a screen, now I can start complaining how there isn’t any gameplay footage of her yet LOL.

Since C. Viper came on the scene and scarred me away, I’ve promised myself to take on the challenge of learning characters that may be difficult at first but in the long haul well worth the effort. From what I’ve read Helena may be that type.

I also read that you can practice together with a friend online. Now that would be amazing.

yeah. Rig was kinda demolishing everyone. Hopefully it’s because people dont know him very well yet. But he does have a bunch of options and pressure from his flamingo. It looked like you could punish him after his second high kick in flamingo stance, though you’d need a really quick jab or long range poke. I’m not sure if his second kick is too quick to risk holding. Seems like it’d be better to just punish.
