WHaaaaaa? Whats more story related cutscenes then Hitomi and Lei-Fang spontaneously fighting over cabbage they never paid for from the merchant who appears in the ninja gaiden games?
I honestly face palmed when I first saw that scene, all that scene needed was Zack and his rabbit named Tina leaving with the cabbage whilst they fought.
However Jann Lee dragon punching a T-Rex was just both hilarious and epic

The point was to not produce a DOA story like that of a movie…that was generally the point, you don’t write a story a book as you would for a movie, however you can have a movie adaption…you see the difference there? Like-wise for games, your not suppose to hire movie/book writers to make a story for a video game, sometimes it works out, most of the time it don’t.
Modern Warfare and Mass Effect did okay

I’d prefer a linear story like the ones in MK9, SC5, TK6 or KOF13 rather than a bunch of nonsensical endings for the characters.
Or do like MK9 and have both.
The games suck but the stories are fine IMO, far better than fighters which is the point
Every genre has a better story than fighting games. Doesn’t mean its good though.
Even dat Puzzle genre has a better story mode

as a jann lee mainer, i was under the impression that he is one of the few that it’s on par with the ninjas 
good to hear it, i loved to play doa2 tag on arcades, specially on the 2vs2 format, almost all the tournaments of doa2 were that way, and i loved it
