Im playing msp against team clock, and im having trouble with mags getting in on sent/doom… Im getting counter panned all day in the air…if I block and land im getting fucked on high/low game when i land. And often at times im tri jumping into rocks and getting caught between doom on ground and sent in air then jab jab rocketted…Any advice or set up ideas I could tinker with. Oh he also spit checks constantly if I dont s/j… The clock im talking about is shoultz in case anyone was doubting the skill of the player im up against :O!
if your execution is good, you’ll just have to learn to read your opponent. don’t just rstd blindly, anticipate your opponent. just play as much as possible because experience teaches you best.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the phenomenon you’re describing. Or do you mean you actually normal jump behind him so that when he wakes up the j.hk hits “behind”?
On a similar note, when ROMing Sent, a crossup c.lk c.mk reset can catch him while Sent is turning around (he actually has a frame or two for this) but if the opponent is expecting the reset and blocks accordingly, the reset doesn’t hit. I think.
well see my theory is with when you 5 fierce sent in the corner he flips over mag like the rest of the smaller cast. but really when you think about it logically you can’t really get a 5 fierce on sent, you have to settle for 1 light, 3 feirce from rom… but in essence it works just like 5 feirce… you get 1 down+lk, and 2 feirces to connect and then the last cr hk flips sent over mag out of the corner now mag is in the corner and sent in waking up facing the opposite corner.
now i heard, i dunno if it’s true… but i heard that when sent has to switch positions like that. that there are a few frames where he can’t block bc he faces the opposite way, faces the screen, faces you, faces the opposite corner for 1 frame then to you again.
No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to I combo into Hypergrav xx Tempest. The opponent always falls before Hypergrav can reach them. I’m doing the same combo as up here…
“I’m in training mode doing hypergrav xx tempest combos and it seems that on almost every character I do, launch xx sj.lp lk mp mk airdash sj.lp lk mp mk xx HG xx tempest”
But Hypergrav always seems to miss.
Little heads up, I rarely play MvC2 and I just learned to do the ROM infinite earlier today, so if someone can give me a solution in layman’s terms, I’d appreciate it. fashooo
Well, I put in neutral, and I’ve landed it 10 times in a row now. Good look on the tip, piponaz. I don’t see why it would work, but, for whatever reason, it does. Thanks.
