From what i know Quitley will do te first 3 issuses than another writer will do 2 more and than Quitley will be back for issue 6
While it would be nice to have the same artist throughout this is still good news. I wish he was a faster penciler. Love Quitely’s work still.
Have I ever told you that Quietly draws the most asian Emma Frost I’ve seen?
I’m not a fan of the way he draws women. Still if you hold up to everything else he draws then it makes up for that one defect. I mean c’mon, who else can make Clark Kent and Superman look 100% different yet still the same? Who came up with those awesome New X-Men outfits? His Emma is ugly but that outfit was hella broken. I think Quitely is great and if I have to take not so hot looking women with everything else then I’m fine. There’s hot women in comics everywhere else.
Battle For The Cowl interview with Tony Daniel. Spoilers naturally.
EDIT: What’s this about Winnick with Ed Benes? I guess Bagley’s run might not start right away. Someone wake me up when Bagley is drawing the new Batman…
Frank Quitely’s women give me big boners. I’m just kinky like that.
Batman and Robin is a 12-issue rum, with 4 3-issue arcs.
Quitely does the first one, Philip Tan is doing the second one, they haven’t figured out the third one yet, and Quitely comes back for the last arc.
Also, The Joker will be involved somehow. Quitely-drawn and Morrison-written Joker? YES PLEASE
I also hope Winnick’s run ends after this first arc, Bagley’s art will be nice to look at and will hopefully distract from the criminal writing we’re in for. I’m actually really looking forward to Detective and Paul Dini’s two books.
I’m still kind of on the fence about Red Robin, I only just started to learn the names of writers and artists that I like and I don’t really know what to expect from Yost and Bachs
So does anyone else think that Black Mask is Jason Todd? I think since he went off the deep end, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him either get schizophrenic or take up black mask’s place just to help Gotham go into ruin (it makes sense with his speech at the end, at least to me).
Yost wrote the Academy X series and is writing X-Force, both of which are some of the best X-books, here’s hoping he will do a fine job with this series.
Is Winnick’s writing that bad? What’s with the Winnick hate?
i wont lie lois lane looks very nice under quietleys pen

Short answer:
He writes a horrible Dick Grayson.
Judd Winick is the damn Erick Dampier of mainstream comics. That’s all I got to say.
Interesting tidbit about Batman’s fate from Final Crisis (Dan Didio excerpt):

Spoiler
From the fan perspective, we all know that there?s something going on with Bruce Wayne. So therefore, we?re going to see reflections of the Bruce Wayne story, the Batman story as it plays out in the DC Universe in all of the Batman books and reflections of it in Blackest Night. The fan knows ? or the fans might guess ? that was not Batman?s body that was recovered as a skeleton in Final Crisis #6, but nobody else knows that. Part of the year we have coming ahead of us is the exploration of what that means to the DC Universe ? what that body represents, and more importantly, what actually happened to Bruce Wayne, and the mystery surrounding him.
- Wait ? that wasn?t Bruce Wayne?s skeleton?
DD: Did I say that?
NRAMA: You said that.
DD: Did I?
NRAMA: Yes.
DD: Dammit. Then who was the guy in the cave if that wasn?t Bruce Wayne?s skeleton?
NRAMA: That?s a very good question, but so is: Did Superman find a body, take that dead body?s clothes off, and put a Batman costume on a dead body, just to carry it outside? That puts Superman into a creepy new light…
DD: See, I know I didn?t say that. Now you?re starting to suppose something else. I?m saying that there was a skeleton. It did have a Batman costume on it, but whose skeleton that is, where it came from, who is the man in the cave, where is the man in the cave ? those are all stories we?ll be exploring in the course of the coming year.
NRAMA: But both the man in the cave and the skeleton had pants on…
DD: Now that, I completely agree with and can support (laughs): both of them did have pants on.
NRAMA: So it?s the two sets of pants, isn?t it ? the two sets of Bat-pants. That?s the key, that?s the Rosebud of this whole thing, isn?t it?
DD: (laughs) It?s just like the old days ? when you bought a suit, it always came with two pairs of pants.
NRAMA: It did?
DD: Yeah ? it did.
NRAMA: How old are you?
DD: (laughs) Trust me ? it did ? one shirt, one jacket, two pairs of slacks.
Philip Tan is taking over after Quietly 3 issues in Batman and Robin. YAY
Does thou dislike Quietly’s art?
PFFT do not be absurd, for i adore Quitley’s art. but Tan is more than worthy to take over after Frank. Long story short, the Batman and Robin book in terms of artists is going to be over the top.
I liked his art in All-Star Superman but in X-Men he drew Emma with a beer gut
