Can someone explain Final Crisis to me? Because I really have no clue what’s happening.
Double KO!
Spoiler
So, who thinks Bruce is ACTUALLY dead? Show of hands.
^Raises hand, though what Brainy showed Supes at the start of FC #6 is…questionable…
FC
[details=Spoiler]Darkseid discovers the true AntiLife equation and uses on the universe and Earth, those left unaffected are battling those that have become AntiLifed.
Do note that I have only read FC #6, but figured this all out from reading it :lol:[/details]
Raises hand
but
for spoiler
Spoiler
What the hell is the connection between Batman B.R.B and FC? i mean its like 2 random diffrent stories without anything related (beside Batman)
FC #6
Spoiler
I believe FC #6 is what ties them both together, in that everything in RiP leads up to FC #6 and in its conclusion the full final destruction of Batman occurs.
Yeah i got that but how? (note that i haven’t read batman#684 yet)
Well
IIRC
[details=Spoiler]Batman RiP ends with Bats being abducted by Darkseid, or him traveling to Apokolips. In the 2 Last Rites issues, Darkseid attempts to mess with Batman’s head while in turn create an army that have similar thought patterns and psyches to Batman.
However Batman succeeds in defeating the brainwashing and in FC6 kills Darkseid[/details]
Nightwing #152 was classic. It’s only more (unnecessary, but “I’ll kindly take more”) proof that Ra’s was Batman’s greatest foe. It brought back memories from the old days with Bats vs Ra’s via sword badassery.
I prefer Ra’s over Joker too. But Joker’s still a classic.
Some would say 2-Face should be Bats’ greatest foe, but eh to each his own
Two-Face/Joker/Ra’s are the three ultimate Batman villians, and they used them all up in Begins/Dark Knight lol.
Anyway, HOLY SHIT @ FC6. I know it will eventually be reversed with the Lazarus Pit or multiverse or some junk, but man…WTF.
rumors
Spoiler
Bruce is going to become a new-god but ofcourse it’s just a rumor
Althouh I’m a DS fan over supes I think it’s about time someone used that element against one of them. good to see morrison keeping the kirby legacy canon, dude has major stones though.
I read FC 6 and I liked what happened (from a “enjoyment of the story” point of view). Just a question, with “Battle for the Cowl” coming up, who do you think deserves it?
Dick Grayson, personally. He’s the best crime fighter of the bunch IMO.
vixen- return of the lion
hey how many people read this book it amazed me how she can use her powers but how easy she can be destroyed
oh by the way do anyone have the year one comic book: Black Lightning
Newsarama put DC’s April covers spoilers up…so I have a question of course regarding TT’s upcoming roster:
who
[details=Spoiler]http://www.newsarama.com/preview_images/dcnew/apr09/4/ttann_cv1.jpg
Who is the guy running to the right? A new Kid Flash?
He’s also in TT #70[/details]
Green Lantern is the best comic out. Obama would be the most broken Green lantern ever. Probably should be the leader of the Blue Lanterns instead of Hal Jordan lol.
HOPE!!!
response to Geese Pants
[details=Spoiler]
I don’t think that’s a new Kid Flash. The emblem on his sleeve doesn’t look like a lightning bolt, looks more like Wonder Woman’s W, but I’m pretty sure that’s not it either.
Also, on TT #70, that’s Wally, cause the Titans/Teen Titans/Vigilante are all tying in to a story called “Death Trap”, and I think Wally is in the Titans book. Unless you meant Titans #12, cause that same kid is on that cover. I think he needs a costume, haha.[/details]
Rage of the Red Lanterns is pretty great. The ending was not something I expected.
The FoE: Deathstroke one shot was okay. I guess I didn’t realize that Deathstroke has been out of comission since “Last Will & Testament”. Its pretty interesting if you’re a ravager fan.
And JLA was a throwback to some old stories of a returning villain, Starbreaker. Pretty tame. I’m thinking of dropping JLA from my pull list.
I know this is late, but on the latest JSA issue, I had a question.
Superman
[details=Spoiler]
I know Kal-L (right?) went back to his original universe and lived many years, as far as witnessing the birth of the Legion of that universe, but that’s all, right? He didn’t turn out to be someone that was previously shown in an older story or anything like that? Just wondering, because of the wink in the last panel, I wasn’t sure if I was missing anything other than “He lived to be a thousand years old and witness a new generation of heroes”[/details]
