Am i the only one that is hyped for Tiny Titans…?
I think I might buy Tiny Titans when I go to the store. Only a jerk or a dirty communist rat would not find that shit adorable.
you get my message zephy?
Oh yeah. I’ll be there on Saturday. I’ll give you a call when I get there?
New video of Batman six episode anime

Who here is a fan of Aquaman? I’ve found numerous collections of his volumes at a shop and was wondering which one to pick up.
Joint looks hot, like Batman Black and White in anime style! Loving the Ninja Scroll looking one with Deadshot and the other one where Bruce Wayne looks like Yagami Light of Death Note. :lovin:
Yeah, that anime looks kinda cool. Interesting design they came up with for Deadshot. I recently read the entire run of the '80s Suicide Squad and I have a new fondness for him. Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Lashina, Amanda Waller (a.k.a. “The Wall”), and Count Vertigo - all had a number of particularly cool moments in that series. But Deadshot, along with the Wall and Boomerbutt, was really one of the constants of that team book.
The very last issue of Legends of the Dark Knight was a Deadshot vs. Batman story by Christos Gage, too. Something you should check out in the quarter bin or back issue box if you get a chance.
got my tickets to wondercon zephy. sf4 here i come…if i can somehow manage to get away from the steve carrell panel
In Countdown this week as the back up they featured Harlequin’s origin. The two pages were drawn by Bruce Timm of Batman The Animated series fame! That was quite a treat, seeing as how she came from the cartoon and all. :lovin:
Screw all that!
LEGO BATMAN!
So someone at another forum kinda got me interested in reading Catwoman, even though I’m not a fan of that series, I’m told the stuff that happens in it is pretty good. At any rate I just need to know what Vol. the recent series is; is it Vol. 4 or Vol. 5? Finally are there any TPBs for the recent series?
Catwoman by Brubaker is what you need. The first TPB is The Dark End of the Street (it’s got COOKE and Allred). Then it’s Crooked Little Town, Relentless, and Wild Ride. DC didn’t collect Brubaker’s last arc, but his last few issues were ruined by horrible Paul Gulacy artwork and stupid War Crimes crossover shit. That is the best Catwoman stuff. Also get the Selina’s Big Score OGN by COOKE.
The recent stuff by Will Pfeiffer is garbage. Not worth reading.
^Well, is the whole ‘Black Mask tortures/disfigures Catwoman’s friends’ thing from earlier issues (the ones you mentioned) or the recent ones?
It’s from Brubaker’s run. He and COOKE started the current volume of Catwoman. After Bru left, there were some fill-in writers and then Pfeiffer took over. The Black Mask stuff is from the Relentless storyarc.
Ah cool, that narrows down my search
So the books I should read are-
The Dark End of the Street
Crooked Little Town
Relentless
Wild Ride
Selina’s Big Score OGN
Thanks.
Yup, that’s right. Selina’s Big Score is kind of a prequel to the start of Bru’s run, but it doesn’t really matter when you read it. As long as you do. Because it’s COOKE. If you can’t find it, it should be in COOKE’s Tall Tails HC.
tHANKS again mate, glad to see that I’ll only need to read 24-25 issues of her series, since I’m not a big fan of hers.
Speaking of which did the Riddler ever get a sort series of his own?
aLMOST DONE reading the 24 issues, great read might I add. Couldn’t find the Prequel but it’s still OK.
All Star Batman was fun. Nice to see Robin kicking some ass. :woot:
