this series is so crappy im realy enjoying it they also coming up with something that should be realy serious amd impressive but its realy pathetic
OK so the other day I bought some DC comic collections which include-
Ion: Guardian of the Universe
Green Arrow: Into the Light
Gotham Central: Robin Dead
Justice Vol. 1
Crisis on Multiple Earths (I actually thought this was Crisis on Infinite Earths XD)
Flash: Rouge War
A Robin & Batgirl (III?) comic collection
…and that’s it.
All for less than $200 :D.
Anyway been reading 52 for a while now, pretty good IMHO.
Thanks, I believe there were 2 copies at the bookshop I went to and decided to pick it up due to it being Gotham Central and I heard it was a kickass series.
What are some good Wonder Woman and Supergirl TPB or such that I should consider picking up as well?
…and how many volumes are there in total for Justice?
Smallville’s Chloe Sullivan is not gonna appear in Superman comics anytime soon. Boooo…
Chloe Sullivan
Last seen: Okay not yet, but we announced back in December that the character from Smallville would be making a trip to comics to join the Superman supporting cast.
DiDio says: Chole is an exciting character on the television show, and we had hoped to work her into DC continuity, but unfortunately, the stars did not align properly, and even though we had announced it, she will not be appearing in any of the issues of Superman or Action Comics.*
I liked the introduction of supergirl in superman/batman. I think that is volume two. Or three. The tpb is called supergirl. I also liked loeb’s arc on the supergirl comic. It’s the first trade. Try to find the tpb where kara fights batgirl. It has some if the best art I have seen in that series. It was drawn by ian Churchill.
One Wonder Woman book that I think is pretty great is The Hiketeia by Rucka and J.G. Jones. It even has Batman, baby - what else do you need to know? Also, I haven’t read any of Rucka’s run on the Wonder Woman monthly (all of which has been collected in TRADE, BABY) but I’m willing to bet that P.Gabby would say it’s a good read.
But Painy is on some bad crack for recommending Loeb’s Supergirl stuff… He doesn’t like Chaykin but did he just recommend some comics by Loeb, Turner, and Churchill? I think the Deadpool mancrush has gone too far… We need an intervention here. Either that, or Painy needs to share the bad crack.
