over the years they’ve majorily downplayed darkseid…only dcu was really giving off a true adaption of what darkseid really is. I’m glad their getting back to their roots of the dc universe all at once shitting their pants at the sight of him.

the reason Titans fucking sucked throughout the 90s was because it stopped being a superhero book, and became about who’s shacking up with who, and basically was Dawson’s fucking Creek.

then they decided the Titans needed their fucking edge back, so they took the last fun book DC did (Young Justice), decided the kids were too goofy, so they took that away, shot the only kid who was still fun, and angsted up the title.
then, they took the leftovers (the former Titans), and gave Winick Carte Blanche to continue with the fucking sappy soap opera shit.
so, this is just more of the same. The Titans are only good when they’re Teenagers, it would seem.

Yeah, but he was always known more for being a Titans villain than a JLA villain. “Hey! Let’s just pit him against he ENTIRE Justice League(whatever is left of it anyway) and have him “kill” Firestorm and beat up the rest!”
I think the first couple years of the Johns/McKone Titans was pretty great. It was just something different. I can see why it sucks that they canceled Young Justice just to do revamp TT, but there were some entertaining arcs in the Johns/McKone era.
It’s not that Deathstroke shouldn’t be allowed to beat up on the big guns. It’s how he did it in IDC. Come on. Green Lantern throwing a punch with his ring hand? And then somehow, Deathstroke has the willpower to fight for control over a weapon that’s supposed to only respond to its owner? That’s lazy writing right there.
But I would enjoy it if you could refer me some comics in which Deathstroke owns the JLA because I can’t really think of anything off the top of my head.
On a sidenote, I was reading on ESPN a while ago that the Cowboys’ QB coach is named Wade Wilson. Maybe he will teach Romo how to be faster than the Flash and how to have such great vision he can see atoms. Just like DEADPOOL
