I agree. I like the Court of the Owls story arc that’s going on I just don’t like the fact that it’s spread through all of the Bat books.

Okay, I wrote my last comment a bit to fast. I read on ComicsAlliance that The Court of the Owls arc was going to be spread through the bat books after this last issue of Batman and I wasn’t too happy with that idea.
Now that this weak little Penguin arc in Detective is wrapped up, (as of 7), we’ll probably see owls there too.
I’d be down with the price hike if they were actually lengthening the comics, but as I understand it, they’re just adding some 8-page background-type extra material or somesuch, and the main stories are still 32. I hope I’m wrong about that.
I’ve heard GREAT things about Swamp Thing,is there a release date for the trade?
Anyone know when Jim Lee will hop back on JL? It was the only New52 pick up I had solely because of Jim Lee. I really felt that the arc was mediocre but Jim Lee is so goddamn amazing.
JL’s first arc should’ve been 12 issues long, 6 just didn’t work well for this story.
Swamp Thing will have a new look with armor and wings.
That doesn’t show much. For all we know it’s just gonna be for a few issues and then he loses them.
Remember when Moore gave Swamp Thing a ‘new look’ during one of the last arcs of his run?

He’s got the wings now. He grew them right after he killed the Rot soldiers. Maybe he is going to be able to manipulate his physical shape to grow wings, the Parliament of the Green said he was going to be stronger this time around. Issue 8 is going to kick ass
As for that interview losing Yankick Paquette on ST makes me sad, his art is amazing
It was nice this week how Batman and Nightwing had the same exact conversation in both comics, just interpreted differently by the artists. Synergy like that is really cool.
Blue Beetle continues to be awesome. You guys should definitely look into it when the trade comes out
Captain Atom is going places but its funny the cover to #7 makes it seem like he’s fighting a double when he just wants to talk. ( For now that is)
I think Batgirl’s a contender for my favorite new 52 title. It’s got some issues, but I’m liking it at least as much as Detective and the other bat books I read.
Oh god Batman #1-7, talk about a fangasm. I’ve dropped everything but Batman and Nightwing currently, but it’s not like I am missing anything else.
Although the new Captain Marvel…oh, excuse me I mean Shazam (That won’t last long) is peaking my interest despite stupid name change and hoodie.
I’m not in love with the art on Batman right now, but I do like how it’s doing a long, continuing story.
All-Star Western was pretty good this week. Moritat’s art can be odd sometimes, but he draws some beautiful women~
Aquaman was OK, i STILL feel like it’s going at a slow pace but [spoiler=]BLACK MANTA, SON![/SPOILER]
JL Dark #7 was good, but Constantine really needs to STFU.
100 x this. I think the skylines and mansions in Gotham had amazing detail to them as well, but Moritat’s women are gorgeous.

I think the Masters of the Universe movie was meant to be a tribute to The Fourth World.
