I’d say faster the conception of a thought or an idea.
Really though asking what their ‘top speed’ is, is a moot and silly question; they’re just uber friggin’ fast and will run as fast as needed to save the day.
Hasn’t one of them run so fast before that they went back in time?
Isn’t that what started Flashpoint?
If I remember right, Wally has exceeded the speed of light by breaking the dimensional barrier.
Barry has traveled backward through time.
Detective Comics and Batman are going up from 2.99 to 3.99 but they will be 40 pages long.

Doesn’t sound so bad IMO.
Fav. reads of this week were Action Comics 5 and Stormwatch 5.
Marvel took December but DC titles still dominate the top ten.
I have never been a DC fan but took advantage of this New 52 thing to see what’s up. While I really have no interest in the traditional heroes, I am loving Suicide Sqaud and Red Hood and the Outlaws. Deathstroke has also been cool. I have liked Batwoman for a while but the new 52 arc is kind of weak. Making her a bitch for no real reason. I also hate how she is being drawn as a red headed albino. I also hate the sidekick thing. It makes no sense. I heard that Animal man is cool and I may check that one out.
So far Suicide Squad is my favorite. I hope that it sticks around.
More on the DC books going up to 3.99. This is mostly about Batman #8.
I wonder if that will affect the digital prices. I buy all of mine on a Kindle Fire.
I have no idea if it will affect digital. Probably not but I’m not 100% sure.
Refresh my memory: Morrison’s Seven Soldiers are each meant to be ‘parallels’ to members of the Avengers (for example he initially wanted to have Etrigan as a main character and he would’ve been the Hulk of the team, but I think he couldn’t use him so Frankenstein= Hulk I think). What I want to know, is which Soldier represents which Avenger.
“Second Wave” is coming in May
Batman Inc. is back (with Paquette in the artist bullpen  ). Just curious how many issues were there before it went on hiatus? I only picked up DC books after the reboot
“Dial H” is the only other book I’ll probably pick up.
Jesus Christ more Batman? THE BATMAN IS TOO DAMN HIGH
Not too sad H&D is canceled cause that shit sucked. Gonna miss Men of War and Blackhawks though
;.; OMAC ;.;
Thankfully Demon Knights isn’t getting canceled.
Wonder if OMAC will join SHADE? He had a crossover with Frankenstein in the latest issue.
At any rate, good reads this week for me include:
Demon Knights, GL 4 & 5 (Caught up, I like where the series is going, and I got nothing against Sinestro, but I’d like to see him lead his Corps again =p), Batman & Robin 5, and Suicide Squad was kickass this issue but man
why’d Yoyo get killed for? Or maybe it’s a set-up between him and King Shark? I mean Black Spider is still somehow alive @_@.
DC rebooted their logo too. IS NOTHING SACRED?
Wow, that is horrible.
And I don’t mean that as in, “It’s different, so it’s horrible”… I mean that is one ug-ass logo design.
And they just changed logos a few years ago. You can’t just rebrand over and over again and expect good results.
Who is steering this ship?
I feel like DC’s mishaps with their logo kind of speaks to their approach to comics in general. They don’t know what the hell they’re doing. They’re just reaching. They’re basically throwing shit at the wall and hoping something sticks.
They don’t seem to realize that it stinks anyway.
So I’m drunkenly wandering the internet and I find this list of Liefeld’s worst 40 drawings and I: 1. Laughed fuckin hard and 2. Thought of this H&D picture so I thought I’d share.
Not quite sure how it’s germane to DC Comics, but yeah, that article is a classic.
It does bring to mind another, much less amusing article I read recently. The author was a fan who was recounting a mean prank he tried to play on Liefeld at a comics convention. Apparently, the goal was to get back at Liefeld for foisting all that Liefeldy artwork upon us over the years. I guess this particular fan makes it his mission to be a personal nuisance to artists whose work he doesn’t like. It was pretty stupid.
The good thing was that it raised a debate in the comments section about where the line is between artist and art, and whether or not having an objection to the artwork also means having a more personal grievance with the person who made it. Some people took the side of the prankster, but a lot of people (including a few famous names) were stepping up to defend Liefeld not as an artist, but as a human being.
Perhaps the difference between a fan and a fanboy is that the latter has trouble making that distinction.
