Crisis On Two Earths comes out next Tuesday doesn’t it?
Yeah the 23rd, next Tuesday. A bit OT but the WB also dropped Halo Legends yesterday. It is REALLY GOOD.
DC names DiDio and Jim Lee as Co-Publishers. Great now All Star Batman and Robin will NEVER get done. Johns becomes Creative Officer.
Another Jim Lee project put on the backburner
When is blackest night 7 coming out?
^This week on the 24th.
Justice League Crisis On Two Earths was dope! James Woods Evil Batman FTW! Gina Torres as evil Wonder Woman was great too. And Mark Harmon as Superman! Batman’s new voice didn’t really work for me but it was alright. All around good cartoon. And a little creepy here and there heh! :clapdos:
I liked the animation style for The Spectre short on the Blu-Ray more than the one used for the JL flick LOL! Not that the JL one looked bad or anything. The Spectre short was EXCELLENT though. :lovin:
They showed a preview for the Red Hood story they are animating next. Not a fan of that storyline but dang they got some excellent voice casting there. Bruce Greenwood (Dad/Mitch from John From Cincinnati, President in the National Treasure movies) as Batman! It’s not Kevin Conroy but his voice is a really good fit. And Jensen Ackles (Dean from Supernatural) as Red Hood along with Niel Patrick Harris as Nightwing! Can’t wait!

Ok , with only one more issue to go and hopefully the last issue will deliver like well any other issue in the series
Do you guys think that Blackest Night will be one of the best events in comics?
I mean on a level of Crisis On Infinte Earths and other epic events, or it’s just hype that will soon fade away?
And yes its all in the last issue cause we all know that if the last issue will suck peope will remember the suckiness of the last issue
Also Newsarama.com got the covers for GL#52
DO NOT i repeat DO NOT go in if you haven’t read or you don’t know what happened i nthe end of Blackest Night #7
EPIC COVERS http://www.newsarama.com/comics/Blackest-Night-White-100225.html
Don’t know how Blackest Night will hold up over time. Some people 'round the net had problems with the last issue.
BK#7
[details=Spoiler]A few people are upset about the revelation of the DC Universe in this book, how it conflicts with science, places like Krypton being around millions of years before Earth, and as usual man’s desire to be at the center of everything. This with regards to everything beginning with Earth.
I don’t have any problems with the issue. In fact I think the revelation is pretty cool. I mean it’s a fictional universe and some people lose sight of that sometimes. And yeah, Earth / Earths have always been the center of the Multiverse, 52 Earths or what have you anyway so in that regard it makes sense.
You can easily say the Entity existed several billion years before Earth and it just rested there, all it would take is a tweak like that. Or just pin everything on whatever the last Crisis was. That’s what I always do. :clown: [/details]
Other than that the hype for the series has been really good. Most people seem pleased with the series. The Whitest Night bi-weekly book might be overkill but we’ll see.
Don’t you mean Brightest Day?
Of course not.
Are these people serious? It conflicts with science? Who said
this?
I got news for all these stupid fucking nerds: science doesn’t matter in a universe where a guy can fly, we have a Martian, a dude with hawk wings, a sentient robot, a cyborg, and a group of guys who fly through space on rings powered by a green lantern that collects will power.
Jesus Christ. People like that are why comics
are still looked down upon.
Fucking douchebags.
I’ve been pleased with the series so far. #7 was good, though I do admit I was hoping for a bigger “lie” revelation that what happened. Still a good issue, and Brightest Day looks promising.
As far as people being mad, saying that it conflicts with science…they can go kick rocks. This is fiction for Christ sakes.
