JSA All-Stars is a result of a team split in the latest story arc of JSA. Its supposed to be the more “militant, pro-active” members of the JSA.
I don’t know, I wasn’t feeling it… I thought it was awesome as an end to the Lo3W story, but bringing it back to that Earth and the whole “This is your kryptonite” was waaaaay too corny for me.

JSA All Stars as a concept really rubs me the wrong way. I think I would appreciate it a bit more if they changed the title. The JSA are essentially a representation of the Golden Age and everything it stands for, and the term “All Stars” implies a team of their brightest and best. When I think of a team that are the “All Stars” that represent the JSA, I don’t think of a militant group that jumps enthusiastically at the opportunity to kill their enemies when they find out that they’re cyborgs.

I actually thought the issue was kinda of a step down, compared to the previous GL & GLC issues, although John was awesome as Fuck, “I didn’t kill anyone, I failed to save them.” Also liked the co-feature thing with Ray and Mera and Deadman to the rescue
