Well Cell was like WAY more powerful compared to Krllin so I think he could’ve just taken the Kinezan without getting sliced.

Of course, the Taiyo-Ken and Kienzan combination makes Kuririn fucking broken anyway. Why didn’t he just slice Freeza in half when he was blinded by his Taiyo-Ken?

So, this game is great, but given this game’s success do you think there’s any chance of Chou Dragonball Z ( the arcade Banpresto / Namco one that was shown at AMOA ) coming over? That one looks VICIOUS.
I thought it was right after Cell turned Perfect. Both Kuririn and Trunks attack Cell head on but they can’t even budge him. And yes I do believe that part was not in the manga.
I’m having trouble finding any tier lists online, and though I thought Trag had mentioned one earlier in this thread, I can’t find evidence of it. Does anyone have a listing? It’s really more out of curiousity than because of me not wanting to lose or anything like that.
Well if the infinite i posted turns out to be true and is truely legit(it seems you can do it with some other characters as well and some other set ups as well)then any character that can do it im sure will be good in at least some asspects.
Besides super armor type characters i really dont see any reason why it wouldnt work, cpu isnt getting out of it… and in my head I dont see how you can get out of it, you can even do p, link fireball link punch link fireball etc etc… timing is exstreme and it does little damage but in the very least I dont see how you can get out of it since its not like there is really a hit before so you can time those timing type blocks since you have to get hit by something like it at least once before hand and stuff. And also it at least builds meter.
Blah whatever… I assume good characters will be characters that dont have to waste ki chargeing and can build teh majority of there ki by attacking, and can freely use fireballs wiht out having to worry about charging to be able to do any.
Krillin, ss2 and 3 goku, most vegitas, ssj fighting trunks, fat zarbon, ss4 gogeta all seem powerfull to me.
Also I really dont think z items should be counted… They seem seriously unbalanced… Its one thing for just the items to be unbalanced themselves from character to character which is gonna happen unfortantly, but the fact that some characters dont even have as many slots as other characters to put them in is ridiculous.
I don’t think anything is solid enough to set up any kind of tier listing at the moment outside of the obviously underpowered characters like Videl, little Gokou, and esecially Mr Satan. Even still in the right hands they stand a more than decent chance against the obviously superior cast members.
Videl and Kid Goku are alright. Mr. Satan is the “Dan” of this game as his punches don’t even make your opponent flinch.
Ah i dunno about videl being anything other then crapola, but kid goku does have a level one after image theonly one in the game so thats automaticly a plus for him there. Plus hes small which means a lot of stuff wont work on him. Im sure hes quite a bit better then a fair majority of people.
So we still don’t have a tier list yet? Crud. Well with so many fighters I guess that’s to be expected. Could be a good, long while before we see even a 1/3rd of a list.
And yeah, I think Mr. Satan/Hercule is the weakest character. Master Roshi and Tao Papi could easily mop the floor with him with minimal to no effort.
Guys, I’m having a problem. I’m currently in the Freeza saga, but I haven’t finished ONE requirement in the Saiyajin saga. I need to defeat Nappa with the Kaiyoken, but no matter how full my ki is, the move doesn’t become available to me. I also have this same problem with Rekoom and Bahta. Is my game defective?
You have to activate the Kaio Ken via a circle button. Up plus L2 plus O I think. You need two balls also. THEN You can do the Kaio Ken attack.
My bad…god, I feel dumb. I didn’t know you had to first activate the Kaiyoken before the finisher was available to you. Thanks man.
No worries. My problem was reversed. I would activate Kaoi-Ken and not realize that there was an actual attack you had to do afterwards, and couldn’t understand why when I was in Kaoi-Ken mode that I would win and it wouldn’t clear the level.
For that punch fireball thing with Vegeta all you need to do is hold O for BLOCK and wait for an opening in the chain, which is not that difficult it’s just that the computer is stupid when it comes to things like that.
And TRAG - Option 9: Homing Teleport (Up+Circle after final hit of Rush Combo*)
After performing all 5-hits of a Rush Combo and finishing with the default
attack (SQ-SQ-SQ-SQ-SQ), the opponent is knocked away and your combo is
basically finished. However, if the final count of the combo is 7-hits or
greater, you can actually Homing Teleport after the Rush Combo to continue the
pressure. For example: SQ-SQ-TR (Guard Break), SQ-SQ-SQ-SQ-SQ-Up+O (this will
teleport you to the opponent), SQ-SQ… (continue your options!). As with the
Teleport Cancel, once performed, your charge meter will reset. You will also
not gain Ki for about 5 seconds after performing a Teleport Cancel.
You can do a Homing Teleport as long as your meter is in the ORANGE or RED after you finish a default SQ times 5 combo. Doesn’t necesseraly have to be after 7-hits. Not trying to be mean or anything just giving you a simpler way of accomplishing a Homing Teleport.
Man, I can’t tell this for anything watching the series: Is Mr. Satan a weakling to me and you, or is he super-strong (but not strong enough to even be a problem to Kuririn)? The way he seems, it looks like he’s doing things anyone else can do (except that tile-breaking thing in one of the movies), but because he supposedly defeated Cell, nobody says anything, and only praise him. How strong is Videl compared to the average person? Is she superhumanly strong, or just highly skilled in martial arts?
What chain?? I said you can do it with just one punch as well. There doesnt even have to be a chain. you can do just punch fireball repeat if you want. Dont you have to get hit by at least one punch to be able to do the next blocking thing to the punch? So if theres only ONE punch period. How can you do that?
I think you are confused or wrote the wrong thing. Even HOLDIng block makes no sence as holding would do jack shit period as you block “slow” when you do that anyway.
