Keits wins guest bed! GO KEITS@! Any pets at the Murphy house?
Not one. We occasionally have my sisters dog over, though, so if you are allergic to those we will make sure to clean the house well before the date.
Edit: we might have to have a tourney or something for the guest bed, depending on demand. Have at least 3 couches that would be useable, too.
I’m cool with floorspace; as long as it’s free.
I’ll bring my PStwo and games to this one; I was in a rush to get out of my house for Gamma Bowl and did not feel like crawling back into my entertainment center’s bowels to unplug stuff. GOD I hate doing that; I feel like I’m crawling through WWI trenches.
If I’ve fixed my Check Engine Light by April, I’m there. If not, any bus or train lines nearby???
I’m pretty sure greyhound has a stop downtown. I’m sure someone would be willing to pick people up from there.
Guest bed MMs, what’s good? I’ll take people on in GGAC, AHF, or MBAC!
(that is, of course, if Hogosha’s out of space… and I can’t get Klaige to show!)
I’ll be there.
If you have any interest in adding Garou: Mark of the Wolf and Samurai Showdown 2, I’ll supply two neo’s and two copies of each game… More if I can convince some friends to come along with their systems and games.
Lol, remember earlier in this thread when you said it was going to be impossible to run 7 or 8 games in 9 or 10 hours?
lets the gamma bowl gide you, my iowan sons.
Naw, mike doesn’t have the guts to DQ people.
I definitely lack balls sometimes. sniff
Anyone’s welcome to crash at my place at any point in time over the weekend (Friday and Saturday night). The only downer is that the apartment really isn’t all THAT big, and we have two severely hairy cats.
I don’t have a laptop to run tourneys on. However, I’m doubting we’re gonna have more than 32 people per tourney, and everything will be straight double-elimination (unless we have like five people in a tourney), so I can handle everything on pen and paper easily. Just gonna require some cooperation from you guys as far as initial seeding (I’m pretty n00bish with the who’s who and from where).
Time-wise…it’s gonna be difficult to run a LOT of tourneys unless I run two at a time if not more. Remember, we’ll only have seven or eight hours to run everything. And I’ll run Mahvel if you guys really want. $5 sound right for the entry fee? I’ll bump Super Turbo up to $5, too.
One other thing I was thinking about. How much would you guys object to a $1 cover fee (used to pay the owner, not me )? I figure, if we get 20-25 people total at this thing, that might be enough to guarantee that we’re there until 9:30. If not, I can pay it out of my pocket, but I’m gonna be a broke man by the end of the day if I’m handing out bonuses for everything.
Double-post. Edited the first post with a couple other things. Completely forgot about Super Turbo. I lack a Dreamcast and when I made the thread I thought I’d be using CCC2’s version (which is ass for speed issues). So, my only option as of right now is the Anniversary Collection version. Any thoughts?
I suggest that for the AHF tourney, we play winner keeps char AND arcana.
I’m cool with a $1 cover fee… hell, I expected it to be higher than that.
Iowa isn’t as far as I thought. I’m going to see if I can spark some interest in the Chicago peoples to go to this.
If we can make it, what’s the haps on some housing?!
i ll try to make this.
magic cards andrew?!?
Yeah, good question. What WOULD be the situation on housing some of us? It’s possible I could brave the drive with Humbag, but it’ll cost us a lot in gas AND hotel. That’ll probably be a deal-breaker for me.
Like I said, my parents have offered to house people at our place.
Yo yo, we staying with Murphagator, Flexanator. Gonna be HYYYPE!!!
No one wants to stay with you fatty.:bluu:
