Very good start. Is there a decided time for the state vs. state stuff to start? Or is that TBD?
Link to these rulse, please. Anything with items is usually pretty random. Also, 3 minutes probably won’t be enough for 2 stocks. I’ve hit time one in five matches while doing 3 stock/6 minute games.
I’ll have one (maybe two) Brawl setup(s) there. Murph’s got it right in that I don’t run Smash at the same time 'cause there’s a HUGE time investment. 7 person double-elim tourney we did the other night took nearly three hours (3 stock, 6 minute, 2/3 rounds). If there’s time and setups available, we’ll see. And you should know that it’s not 'cause I don’t wanna, 'cause dear god I breathe the game right now.
As far as teams go, I’m playing Twelve for sure, willing we use console. If we do arcade, I’m going Elena. I can’t IAD on those sticks worth anything.
I’m pretty sure those are the rules keits and the SRK guys are trying to use for now, since there hasn’t been solid evidence of items being ‘broken’ or anything in brawl yet. I will say ALL items I dont agree with, but at least some are definately not game breaking.

Hogosha - try srk’s brawl forums. Random game elements does not equal random results. and of course your games run long. 3 stock 6 minute no items… 2 stock 3 minute with 3 of 5 gams runs super fast with items.
I realize that smash community is terrified of items-on play… but the SRK smash group is dedicated to playing that wy and only banning what is truely broken (which so far is nothing. the best players are still winning our online tournaments.)
items are fine except for health items (team healer is alright for 2v2 i think)

Shaaadddyyy and Juicy-G haven’t confirmed whatsoever for this tourney. That was more of a slim possibility if anything. Similar to what James said, the final team will be assembled once we get confirmations from people that are coming.
