Characters missing in Tekken 6:

-Jun Kazama
-Kunimitsu
-Dr. B
-Gon

Characters REALLY missing in Tekken 6

-Kunimitsu

bring back ogres

I forgot about Ogre. Then again, he was just a clone of a lot of the missing characters that didnt appear in Tekken 3.

Ogre should definitely be back for Tekken Tag 2. Which is LONG overdue.

Ogre, True Ogre, Devil/Angel, Dr. B, Kunimitsu, Jun, Unknown, Combot…plus the 40 characters in Tekken 6. Miharu and Tiger Jackson would be nice too.

Tekken Tag 2 with double-elimination would SO pwn. I didn’t like 1. Damage was huge and you lost if ONE teammate got defeated. And the character models all looked super-scrawny. TTT actually felt like it should have been an extra mode to a full game, rather than a stand-alone game.

While I bought and like Raging Blast, I really wish theyd release Legends or Hyper Dimension on Arcade or something with full english/hd treatment. Two of the absolute best DBZ games aren’t even out in the U.S.

At least someone gets it.

Yeah, Goku got some ridiculous buffs. Not as bad as Yamcha, though…who has a frickin’ bubble of death with his PPPP chain, lol. Its priority is sickening. Goku, Pikkon, even Dabura have trouble dealing with it. Piccolo needed to be nerfed, but not like that, lol. GT Vegeta’s also too beast.

Honestly, IW is an okay game, but it’s almost like Dimps just took every feature they had and crammed it in with little testing at all. A lot of stuff feels very rushed, like the nullification and fatigue (FFS, the Son Family easily rapes your life bar by dizzying you).

I’ve only played the demo, and it doesn’t feel purchase-worthy, mainly cuz the demo doesn’t even teach you how to play it. All I can do is a few combos that end with the opponent standing there looking like “WELL? That’s it??”, I can’t launch people and follow them like in the previous games or finish with a super. How the hell do you play this?? I’d buy that shit today if I knew how to play it, and liked it based on that, but there’s no tutorial to teach you, so you don’t even know if you even LIKE the game.

In the demo, you can check the move list through the pause menu. Figuring out what does combo, what cancels into what, and whatnot takes experimenting.

The game’s not bad (like people have been saying all over GameFAIL). It’s a fun game. Online’s definitely playable under full-bar connections, and online tournament is kinda cool.

Fuck Piccolo. FUCK HIM. I’m glad he got nerf bombed. Goku went from top tier in B1 and B2 to high tier in B3 to fuckin bottom tier in the Shin Budokai games. Now it’s Piccolo’s turn with his retardedly safe strings because his arms are so fucking low and his fuckin light grenade being retardedly beast mode because it only takes HALF A FUCKING KI GUAGE!!!

Goku was mid in B3, and jumped up to high for BL…so he’s really had time to shine as is. I’m sure he was low tier in B1 or 2…forget which one.

Imaginary rep!

Every online game has lag. No exceptions.

But some MUCH more than others, nobody was disagreeing with your point.

TTT2 would shit all over TTT1. No more superjumps, walls, faster speed. It would make for some really hardcore shit.

Nina + Steve = GGPO

legends would be so dope :lovin:

I hear this a lot and don’t get it. Budokai is just taking turns with those constant “guess which button I’m hitting” sequences. Not that the latest ones are legit fighting games, but at least you control your character for some of the match.

That’s half of why I hate it: the fucking mid-match minigames. Shin Budokai on psp gets rid of that crap. Without the mini-game moves, the gameplay is awesome.

(This dude’s Gogeta is awesome)

I haven’t played any DBZ games since Budokai and Budokai 2. I’ve been a little reluctant to get them since they seemed like rehashes over the years. Is it ok if I get this one? Is this THE dragon ball game to have? Has vast improvements been made in the DBZ game series since Budokai 2?

Not really sure. It’s a continuation of the Tenkaichi series, with some engine strip-downs, from what I can tell. Burst Limit was a continuation of the Budokai series…with a LOT taken out. Looks like Raging Blast had less taken out, and is more playable, though.

Still plays like Tenkaichi, but I thibnk some of the controls have changed. One thing though…if we have ssj3 vegita (and instead of the same supers, he should have had something different, like his gt Final Shine Attack), why no SSj3 Vegito/Gogeta? That should have been a no-brainer.

Since Budokai 3, those sequences are actually extremely rare in occurance at high level play. In B3, Dragon Rush and Ultimates were very much useless, SB/SB2 had none of that, BL at the most had analog twirling. IW has easier-to-land cutscene ultimates, but they still are rare since the scaling sucks and you get better damage on normal combos (IIRC, some cutscene ultimates don’t scale back).

So yeah. Also, Rhio, BL didn’t really remove per say, but rather changed a lot. RB does remove stuff (generally useless options), but also reworks some stuff in order to fix up issues present in BT3 (like BT3’s nonexistant offensive game and absence of “brick wall effect” where some characters don’t take hitstun from melee and ki blasts vs certain characters). Overall, it’s basically Tenkaichi with tweaks to attempt to make it competitive.

But honestly I think SDBZ2 should be made. That game was really fun.
