Db:ragingblast netcode has no lag

What’s up with the db netcode being better than tekken.hope tekken patch fix this

They wanted to make sure people could play dragonball at high level.

Everyone should be playing Raging Blast instead of Tekken 6 anyway.

They have every character up in that bitch. Menwhile, in Tekken 6 I can’t even play as Dr. B!

You can play Doctorb’s daughter tho, complete with jetpacks and chainsaw hands. :looney:

Who cares? Tekken isn’t a game where you can get good at by playing online anyway.

But as far as I know, she doesn’t burp on you while laying on her back. :sad:

How the fuck they gonna fuck up Tekken then get DBZ right? It’s the same fuckin’ company.

i’m a big fan of DBZ. Knowing that, do you think I would enjoy this game? What is your overall impression. Also, are both the english and japanese voices available?

Why do you say that? If they fix the netcode to be on par with BB or even SF4 you could learn a LOT online.

Tekken gameplay is based way too much on frames for an online counterpart to help with essentially anything.

Blazblue works well online because the game has a built in 5 frame input buffer. SFIV really doesn’t have any hard strings except for maybe the jab jab jab jab sweeps, and good luck trying to get that to link online.

Tekken 6, to do an EWGF you have to hit 2 within two frames of hitting d/f. That means you basically have to hit it at the millisecond your stick hits the d/f position. I don’t care if you have two xboxes on T3 connections side by side playing, there will always be that millisecond lag.

But you can easily learn characters such as Bob, Lili, Eddy, etc etc online. Their juggles don’t require strict timing. Hell, I think you can even parry pretty well if the netcode is on patch with SFIV. But trying to learn mishimas online? Yea, good luck with that shit.

Wtf, just wtf…

Namco need to step their game up, tired of jumping online getting a launcher in and either

A)Taking the risk of buffering a juggle and getting punished after a block
B)Whiffing the followup over the opponent who is on the ground

no… it’s not a game like that. it might LOOK like it… but it’s not. You might learn some silly tricks or whatever but to learn the game properly it really needs to be played offline. Otherwise you will be getting away with a hundred different things you wouldn’t be able to offline and might think what you are doing is good when it turns out to be horribly wrong.

the whole “tekken is too based on frames” argument is so beyond fucking dumb.

sf4 has one frame links too…

hdr has a ONE FRAME reversal window and that game works fine granted you are on a good connection and are reasonably close to your opponent.

tekken 6 online at its very best has about a 1/2 a second of input lag. all they have to do is find better ways of masking it like other games (with superior netcode) have.

EVERY. game plays slightly different online, that doesn’t mean the netcode can’t improve.

Is that with every character or do some still get something out of online like mooyang said?

Also even if it never became a good training tool, it would be fun to have good online still.

Tho I don’t think SFIV’s one frame links ever ever everrrrrr happen online. At least they don’t for me.

But yea, I can get out reversal just fine in HDR.

I’d like to know as well. It seems identical to BT3 moves and all, except with better graphics and a better framerate. Any new features/characters?
