Carol is relevant as in she isn’t dead like Jean but her impact in comics after Heroic Age started last year has been pitiful and her gameplay with a few differences would be Phoenix 2.0. and nobody but Phoenix users wants that.
You can’t have Carol without Binary and you can’t make Carol not be a tank like Jean as Carol is one of the better tanks in the MU. Even in design, she resembles Phoenix a little bit with her waist sash and thigh boots.
Besides, we have Capt. America, Ironman, Thor, Spiderman, Wolverine, Taskmaster, Hawkeye, Iron Fist and Dr. Strange as current Avengers reps.
