I just put one in a R1 last night. Took me a while but I got it done pretty cleanly if I must say so myself.

I have a PS3 TE so I had a lot of space at the side closest to you since we don’t have extra PCBs and all that. Wedged in there perfectly.

Question regarding this stick:

Can I use a JLF wire harness to connect the buttons to the PCB board? Two JLF harnesses would cover all the buttons plus ground (then daisy chain the ground afterwards).

Well are not you replacing the Hori PCB with the Datel?
Because the Datel is already both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
It would be redundant to keep the Hori PCB for the Xbox 360 side.

Hi, I just recently bought this stick and would like to know which QD’s you used and where to buy them as well. I know this question was asked awhile ago but I’m sure someone would know this.

I’m also new to this and would like to avoid soldering if possible.

those look like the QD’s you can buy at radioshack… 22-28guage. think an 8pack is around $2

Hmm, Im surprised that noone has mentioned this. A friend has the joytron version of this stick, and it seems like the recent PS3 firmware update has locked it out? Is anyone else getting an unrecognised usb device error on PS3 now?

Good evening gentlemen,

i have recently bought this stick and i am wondering what i would need to mod this stick.
I want to switch out the 8 buttons for sanwa’s and the joystick for a balltop.
Can this be done without soldering? Please Pm me if its not to much too ask.
