The only templates around are for the mayflash and they aren’t accurate.
Someone needs to scan the origional art they peel off, they you can use the shape for the template.
How did you get your template for your datel cannon?
If you can remember please pm me.
Thanks mate.
I used the mayflash template, but I had to adjust it by eye to make it fit.
I shaved about 5mm of the side and bottom, and had to redo the curved corners obviously.
I don’t know if the buttons placement is correct.
Laugh or anyone, I need to know the dimensions of the JOYTRON PAEWANG REVOLUTION PCB. Also, if anyone can update with a better quality hi res picture of the front and back of the PCB along with the +5 volt pin out. Thanks
Hi guys, I’m new to modding/custom building, and I have a few quick questions. I think I understand the best way to connect the stick and the buttons, but I was wondering about the home and start/back buttons.
I want to make a custom stick, and I don’t know what the best approach to soldering buttons to the pcb would be. Looking at it I would guess that drilling a small hole through the pcb at the sides of the pressure connectors (the little gold square-ish things) would be the best way to do it, then just tread a little wire through the pcb and solder it down. Then I was thinking that I would run the wires to a small 6/8 pin connector so that i could easily disconnect the wires should I need to replace something.
Does this sound feasible at all?
You don’t need to drill anything. I think you’re confused. You dont use the button PCB when modding this stick.
Unless you’re talking about the “guide buttons”?
still working?
Just wondering if this stick is still working with all the latest xbox 360 updates.
Thanks
can someone link me to websites or threads, where arcade cases\boxes can be bought?
I have parts and PCB’s just need a box
Case
If you are interested my friend is an acrylic worker. I designed a custom case for this board and he is currently making it. I hope to have time to put it together this weekend but if not then I will next. If you are interested in a see through 1/4 inch acrylic case let me know. I am not sure the cost yet but i will let you know. Acrylic is surprisingly expensive when you buy sheets of it. If you want my original case from the Datel Arcade Pro then I will sell it for $20 plus shipping.
The holes are not hard to drill just go to the hardware store and find a large bore bit. The only problem is that these are usually meant for woold and have a large spike in the middle to hold it in place and two smaller ones on each end. You need to grind these down first because it has a tendancy to crack and chip the plexi and or acrylic.
Hey FED there’s and EDIT button you should use it.
Also do you know how to make MDF look like marble?Or anyone anyone?
Oops
I didn’t realize until after there were a million posts by me that I had f’d it up. oops
As for a marble look, Home Depot sells faux finish kits. I have seen marble kits in both spray paint and regular room paint. They have marble texture rollers as well. Also you can usually find cupboard and drawer liner that is marble textured. Its like a giant sticker that is marble colored but may be to hard to trim without making it look like crap. The spray paint kit would probably work the best. They come with directions but usually take a bit of practice so do it on cardboard first until you get the feel of it.
That’s exactly what i’m talking about. I want to know the best way to hook up a few sanwa 24s to the guide button pcb to act as the guide buttons.
I’m pretty sure you just solder one wire to each half of the pressure pad
there is a picture of it around here somewhere in one of these jaewong/datel threads
has anyone bought this pcb and simply replaced the pcb in their TE?
I’m planning on doing it. Need to get my hands on a TE first!
hello
im pretty new to the whole arcade stick thing.
i just bought a datel arcade pro and i want to mod it.
i understood most of the stuff from diffrent guides i found.
i think i can manage to get the buttons done easily.
my problem is the joystick coz i dont kow exactly what to do if wanna add a sanwa stick.
the stick which is included has 2 wires for each direction and the sanwa stick seems to be just plugged in with that white thing…
in most of the guides it isnt explained how u do that…
i guess the easiet way for me would be to buy a seimitsu stick and just soldering it like it was with the original stick but everybody told me to buy a sanwa…
help would be nice and sorry for my bad english
EDIT: i got another question
i would like to spray it with some car colours.
is it better to leave the picture on it or removing it and cleaning before spraying?
EDIT 2: i know that i have to widen the button wholes to put 30mm buttons in there.
do u guys think that those Seimitsu PS-14-KN button would fit? coz maybe those screws on the backside of the buttons are to big and to close to each other?

post pics when you do it please =)
i have ZERO skills with wiring/soldering/QDs/you name it
Has anybody bought this stick from amazon?
All the info sounds like the stick though the default picture is something else and no reviews yet. Wondering if that is a legit listing.
