So im not sure if you guys are talking about the same thing as far as the autopilot combo, but recently I’ve been trying to level up my bnbs with ironman, I mean I’ve been using really the basic of the basic (hit confirm magic series otg xx super) and I know its not enough. So with you guys advice in mind I’ve been practicing the Krispy Combo and for the life of me after the unfly I have no time for the J.H, am I missing something here? I read through the thread and I’m not sure if this particular part of the combo is the same as the autopilot combo but I thought I would ask anyway, thanks for the help advance.
the way I do it is to do unfly h as a sort of plink
what quicks said is right its a FAST plink. in other words instead of trying to use one finger to press s then h as fast as possible use 2 fingers (your thumb for s and ring finger for h to “piano” the inputs… so its basically qcb s then h. its ALOT easier this way… like infinitely. anywho thats probably a little more in depth than you needed, but theres no guaranteed that you know what plinking is or actually use it. and for the record this isnt technically a plink since they only exist in sf4… its just the button timing is most closely associated with them.

There are lot’s of variations on the Krispy combo, you could just use one that doesn’t take the unfly>H, the difference between the variations is pretty miniscule. Basically instead of unfly>H just do S and go from there.
Alright, I actually do use plinking, well in SF4 so I am familiar with it. I understand now and I actually got it a few times after reading your posts lol. I guess now all it is, is practicing! Thanks guys.

Yo! I’ve been experimenting with a Zero/IM/Skrull team recently and I’m absolutely loving IM. Today I thought of an idea for a combo, but as of now I don’t have the IM execution to pull it off. Wondering if it’s possible. It should be something like this:
cr.l ,cr.m, h, qcb + l, cr. m, h, fly, j.l, j.m, j.h, j.s(unfly?), h, s, j.m, j.m, j.h, j.s, dash, dp+m xxx qcb. l+m
I know this is pretty standard, I’m just wondering if you can do the flight cancel out of heavy after already having done a ground chain into repulsor. On a side note, can anyone link me to some high damage IM combos that don’t contain an air dash so I can prep for umvc? Thanks!
I haven’t tried it but repulsor scales things pretty hard, so I don’t think you can do much more than launch straight away. However, I don’t really see alot of value in trying to stick a repulsor in your combo unless you really need a reset or to switch side.
Ah thanks. I’m still getting used to the fly/unfly combos with IM so the reason i was curious about that is because my current (rather low damage) BnB looks like this:

I had gotten so used to that repulsor in the middle that I figured it’d be cool to try it in one of the more advanced combos. But yo, most of the combos in the op all require a double jump. i don’t suppose you know of any high damaging IM BnB’s that don’t use the double jump?
You really shouldn’t have much trouble with the double jump, but I guess you getting ready for Ultimate. The big one I’d learn is the krispy combo. You can might be able to relaunch with Zero or Skrull’s assists, something like Call Assist>L Smart Bomb (OTG)> Assist Hit> S.
Oh yeah the double jump isn’t that hard, it’s just I recently read some dood’s post about how he sat down and figured out all these awesome IM combos that required that double jump and how he wasn’t buying ultimate because all his hardwork was being erased or something xD So yeah, I was trying to find a double-jumpless one. The krispy combo sounds really good, but I’m having a lot of trouble with consistently nailing the hit right after fly cancelling his H. It seems like fl. L never has enough range to connect with anyone O.o
I expect Iron Man to have combos like Magneto in Ultimate. If I had to guess, I think he could do:
:s:, sj.:h:xx:qcb::s:, fl., fl.:h:, fl.:d:+:h:xx:f:+:atk::atk:, fl.:h:, fl.:u:+:h:xx :f:+:atk::atk:, fl.:h:, fl.:d:+:h:xx:f:+:atk::atk:, fl.:h:, fl.:u:+:h:xx :f:+:atk::atk:, fl.:h:, fl.:d:+:h:,fl.:s: etc etc
Basically, you’re going to want to launch immediately and do a fly loop to the corner. Connecting Proton Cannon mid screen won’t be a problem anymore, but his combos will be a lot easier and boring.
I really wonder if stuff like that will out damage the ground fly loop. Maybe we’ll wind up with a little of both in our BnB.

I don’t think you were off the mark though. Auto-pilot can be more reliable in some situations.
