I know I’m the only person who cared about Psylocke, Hayato and Jin being in, but it’s still sad to see it confirmed that they aren’t in…

Hey, I liked Hayato and Jin in MvC2 as well, and would’ve loved to see Jin in MvC3 (hell, I drew up a whole concept for a level 3 for him just because the thought of it was so awesome)

I really hope they put Megaman X in the game. I was trying to imagine how he could have unique gameplay mechanics and I think it should probably be that his supers consist of summoning capsules that give him white armor parts. The difference between these supers and normal power-up supers is that the power-ups would be permanent
For example:
Arm enhancement - Double charged buster shot, improved specials, increased damage
Leg enhancement - Double 8-way air dash, whereas he only has a horizontal air dash without them.
Helmet enhancement - Increased meter gain, slowly recovers red health, active hitbox on his head whenever he does a vertical air dash
Armor enhancement - Decrease damage taken
Maybe he could get access to the giga crush if he collects all the armor parts.
The reference alone in that stage to DoFP makes it my favorite, that was very nicely done by capcom to include that. The other stages are impressive but throwing that dysutopia with the sentinels and the termination hit list was overthe top for me. Well done. All the Marvel 3 backgrounds were really indepth akin to the King of Fighters Backgrounds where you can see certain characters and referencs to other games was always fun like a video game where’s waldo?
If we got classic MM, I’m pretty sure Capcom would give him a better moveset. MvC2 MM had the worst weapon-switch system ever, waiting for Eddie to come down and give you the weapon took some time, and then it wasn’t even guaranteed that you’d get it! I’d prefer something more streamlined, like how TvC handled it.
At any rate, the poster itself is a nice piece of Marvel fanservice. This is easily one of my favorite new stages.
And this is why there’s no Megaman in MvC3. Stay sad.
Gambit is occupying Kitty Pryde’s spot from the Uncanny 141 cover. She’s teamed up with Wolverine on the cover. Gambit and Mega Man DLC hint? Wishful thinking?

I would like it better if they put in og megaman. think about it:
-OG megaman
+
-Zero (from megaman X)
+
-Tron (from megaman legends)
all 3 megaman universes represented. Plus the they can always tweek his moves. It worked out for wolverine & capt. america ( well, it did eventually)
Also id like to note that Venom was nowhere on that wall :D. But just throwing that out there…
