soooo seth k has said that the poster was just for fun and shouldnt be taken seriously but idk man on one hand I want to think that capcom put it there to tell what dlc characters is coming on the other hand I hope seth is telling the truth because somehow I feel fou-lu has more of a shot as dlc
I’m 100% sure DLC characters are coming. I’m also 100% sure they are probably barely working on it yet. Maybe just ideas of whose gonna be in.

I’m 99% sure you are wrong. Jill and Shuma did TERRIBLE for people purchasing them and even so more using them in tourny settings. I’m more than sure because of that you won’t see more DLC chars but rather a “arcade edition” PACKAGE DLC with 8 characters a LONG time from now. I’m talkin over a year. Nitsuma himself said he wanted to get 58 characters into ultimate but because of time restraints they had to limit it to 50. I really don’t think they are gonna pull another Jill and Shuma. Alt costumes will be the DLC which we already know and maybe something else but not characters.
In an interview Seth had mentioned how DLC characters is not a good thing because of how not everyone purchases and then venues either have or don’t have the characters that not everyone has or doesn’t have access to which makes the characters very much unused. He ultimately ended up saying they want everyone to have the characters not a selection of random people. Now if that 1% of your “sureness” is correct I will be quiet but I just don’t see DLC characters happening.
I actually wish that these characters were DLC instead of the 12 new characters in ultimate.

Of course Jill and Shuma did terrible. Nobody gives a crap about either of them (I actually like Shuma, but I can’t say I care about him as a character, and I probably wouldn’t miss him). It’s obvious they were included with the Collector’s Edition because Capcom and Marvel didn’t expect them to sell well on their own. Characters like Mega Man, Gambit, Venom, Cyclops, Psylocke, Gene, and really pretty much any major X-Men or Street Fighter characters would likely sell a lot better, no matter how much anybody would hate to admit it. Jill and Shuma were horrible choices for DLC money-makers, and I doubt they were ever expected to be.
That being said, a DLC package/third version of the game does seem a lot more likely.
As long as I won’t see i high quality I will believe.
