EDIT: Review of Superman / Doomsday cartoon they premiered at the San Diego Comic Con last night. LUCKY BUMS lol! Spoilers ahead but they are marked so you can avoid them easy like I did.

I just read the review and some of the comments in that thread. I love the fact that people were expecting the Death of Superman in full when Timm clearly stated that like, centuries ago.
Also, Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman is genius casting. She’s basically playing Xena.

That was pretty slick. I was hoping for more footage and examples of character voices, but I guess it’s too early in production. The stuff they did finish looked great. I’m buying this on DVD when it comes out.

Funny that you bump this now. I was just reading all about this project. When I didn’t know much about it, I was excited. Now, I’m VERY excited. I’m sure it’s no surprise to anybody that, to me, this story takes place in the quintessential era of superhero comics, and it’s going to be great to finally have Barry and Hal in the DCAU (yes, I realize Hal has appeared in Justice League for about four seconds, but that hardly counts).
The character designs are jaw-droppingly good. They look like they walked right out of the comic. Very classic.

I definitely have to get some more of the action figures. That Batman is looking mighty good. And yes, I do hope we get some more New Frontier stories. I still regard it as the greatest DC story ever told for this century(maybe ever?).
