So its Canadian
Anyway, I feel French Bread would do a better job with the license then any other company.

Point taken. I prefer my badasses to also be douches but that’s more of a personal taste thing.
She’s more serious in the older games too (and the OVA, though that’s non-canon and all that). A nice mix of the two. Point is, she’s not ditzy.
I am open-minded to all types of badasses : )
The re-release of DS3 isn’t the only reason they rebranded the name. If they had to do that they would have done it before they released DS1 on PSN, wouldn’t they?
The PSX version of DS3 is awful compared to the Saturn and Arcade versions, and since I don’t own a PS3 or Vita I wouldn’t be able to buy this anyway.
Crossing my fingers that DS4 is multiplatform and not Sony exclusive, a WiiU version would be nice.
Wonder why they keep doing PSX ports of the DS games…
Also, they would be beyond foolish to not have DS4 on XB. It’s out of the question.
The DS1 was in the USA only if you guys actually paid attention the renewals were only in Europe and Japan.
Yes it was. I don’t even get it.
Just to get in a quick quip though, I don’t know people mean by classic anime either.

As for Darkstalkers and third party licensing, I think only Examu and French Bread would give it justice at this point.
I don’t think Capcom will trust ASW again after the whole SBX fiasco.
I think reverse-porting Chronicle/Chaos Tower would suffice imo.
Otherwise, the PSX versions are ass.
darkstalkers was before MSH. the marvel series (til 3 anyway) was basically sf alpha mashed with darkstalkers
No it wouldn’t.
X-Men CoTA was being developed at the same time ds1 was.
Ah, true. Though MSH came before VSav and Hunter; DS1 is slower than Marvel series as far as I know.
Also, why wouldn’t a Chronicle port be a good idea?
haha wtf
is that why all the sf4\mvc3 players are going back and playing ST and VS and a2\a3? end sarcasm\
new generation doesn’t want ANYTHING to do with older games where as the OLDER generation is more open to try ANY fighter. I’ve even see Alex Valle dabbling in mvc3 and Choi did play with sf4-ssf4 for a good bit even waxing filipino champ quite easily
your logic is shit and you suck as a troll but keep trying though. maybe one of these days you’ll understand how to troll
new generation more open-minded my ass lol. If the new gen were that really open-minded, there would be more than 5% playing on GGPO. New school is very closed minded, if it ain’t new, we don’t touch it. Being open minded implies you will try anything and I see less than 1% of people on srk trying to be open minded.
in fact, I’m probably one of the most open minded people on this website since I’ve gone back and played CE\HF with some vets from shoryuken on GGPO which was beyond my day. I’ve even made attempts to play games like magic drop 3 to solely work on reaction time.
as usual, you have 0 fucking clue about what you’re talking about
Why would they only rebrand it in Europe and Japan? Was the franchise known as Vampire in Europe too?
I don’t remember the general mobility and stage size before MvC being anything like Alpha and Darkstalkers.
Though XvsSF and MSHvsSF is a big blur for me.
Nope it was Darkstalkers also.
In Japan last time Darkstalkers was used was on the release of Chaos Tower which was around the when the psp first launched before that it was Vampire:Darkstalkers Collection.
I
Having a degree in Animation/Media Arts, I agree with Ye. A 2-D drawn Darkstalkers would be more of the same(though I wouldn’t mind a GGXX/KOFXVIII style Darkstalkers), and CAPCOM is obviously looking to revive franchises by integrating new technologies. I personally don’t see Darkstalkers going full 3-D, yet I’m not against the idea.
WELL THEN FUCK
Simple, it is worse then Hyper Street Fighter 2.
Interesting.
Now I’m all kinds of confused why Europe and Japan were the only ones to jump on this rebranding.
Cause a few months ago Capcom of USA proved they were still using their trademark.
About sums up your own post, I applaud the effort. No trolling necessary, you do it to yourself.
