I ended up not buying Vampire Saviors 2 or Vampire Saviors…I bought Sega Bass Fishing instead…I’ll just wait for Resurrection & then decide if its worth getting the CPS2 for it…
It looks like the Japanese release is scheduled for February 7th. Presumably it’ll be released here at the same time, or somewhere near then.
So much drama over not having the arrange characters.
Just to clarify my stance on the Vampire Savior game being in Resurrection, I just want the arrange characters that weren’t in the arcade version of Savior due to memory constraints to be put into the arcade version of Savior. Something that was already done for the most part in the PS2 collection.
No deal breakers. No ultimatums. Just a request from a player who played Savior since it was added in the Alpha version of GGPO.
If you want to play Phobos, Donovan, or Pyron then play Hunter.

Also, if the Resurrection becomes the sort of “standard” for players, it’d be cool to be eventually see the arrange characters added to the roster. Having missed the arcade experience of VSav entirely, I’m not one to dwell on its arcade accuracy!
It’s just a case with a code to get your game. Capcom did it with MvC2 also.

How much faster does FBA run Vsav than the cabs? I’m finally starting to most of Morrigan’s DI combos down, but there’s still a few I miss the cancel by a hair on.
Is remember hearing FBA runs one frame faster per second than the original cabinet. But I am not one for technical data, so asking a person who actually plays on both might be better help. Sorry.
Anyone got the replays from the GGPO VamBats on YouTube? I’d like to put 'em up on the front page and YouTube embedding is so much easier on the WP install we have here than embedding from Twitch.

I’m currently building Vsav character specific playlists (Demitri / Gallon / Jedah) out of almost the entire Neojimbe youtube archive (lots of Mikado stuff).
Once I’m through that, or perhaps in parallel, could you guys recommend any other good video archives of decent-to-awesome Vsav play? I’m curious about these Vambat replays D3v mentioned, and there are bound to be lots of hidden caches of GGPO replays for the above mentioned characters.
(Is this even the right place to ask? There isn’t exactly a Vampire General as far as I can see.)

The main CPU the Motorola 68k is set to run the games at 16mhz for Cps2 when they should be running at 11.8 mhz.
I think there was a Darkstalkers/Vampire General a while back… let me see if I can find it.
