Pick up Vampire Savior and Vampire Hunter (aka Night Warriors) cps2 boards.
GGPO still has the Marvel games, Jojo, and even 3rd Strike, so I don’t think VS and VH are going anywhere.
Jojo’s was kept since the netcode of the Jojo’s rerelease is apparently bad (idk, didn’t play it, just going off of what I heard). As for the Marvel games, they were taken off then put back on for reasons I don’t actually know (possibly due to the people who played those games on GGPO invading other rooms).

I want the Savior EX version if the game is running off the PS2 version. I want the three missing characters that were meant to be in the game. I don’t give two damns about the Robot’s dark force getting unblockables because of that input delay between standing and crouching guard. Jedah and Q-Bee’s Dark Forces can get instant overhead mixups and snatch a nice 50% right off you if cant tech or Guard Cancel. Ive had that happen to me more than once playing Oochi’s (fucking forgot his name lol) Jedah just to troll me. Hes overall still not better than Sasquatch or Q-Bee or Raptor. Bulleta bugs the hell out of him the same way she bugs Victor and Bishamon (and Donovan) cause he cant crouch under her Far St. LP on top being able to hit him with the same jump infinite that works on Demitri. Donovan can kill the Robot in one combo with his own Dark Force. Pyron is at best annoying cause he can teleport spam and divekick but that doesnt mean hes god tier. And Donovan crouches as high as Bishamon so that means BB.Hood and O-Bee are going to eat him up if the players tech game isn’t notable.
Im just saying that if this game is to gain interest back in the Darkstalkers series to get people interested in a new game, why exclude characters from the best entry of the series because they can do crazy crap thats not that far off the crazy crap that everyone else already does?
I dont remember turbo really working very well for Adv. Guard way back when i tried to cheat with it. Simultaneous inputs only count as just one input.
I’ll be playing Hunter too. I was trying to get people to play Hunter way back when the game wasnt even on GGPO yet and MagnetoManiac was asking me how to play unsupported games on GGPO cause TKO and Hamster wanted to play Hunter on there. Then Ponder added it in and I was getting killed by TKO (DCC winner in Hunter and combo video maker) and stuff while nobody else wanted to bother cause they spoiled on Savior. All Xanoz ever said of Hunter was about how much she liked Mummy’s stage theme and other stuff. Though I will say that Savior is the less top heavy and better game overall.
I elected to just buy Vampire Saviors 2 on CPS2.
You might as well use that money to buy cocaine.
VSav2 is simply not worth it.
Seeing as how Ressuriction is coming out for $15…I thought this would have been the better buy…
What about VH2?
VH2 and VS2 are generally regarded as very poor, rip-off games.
Just buy Vsav arcade…we dont know if they are gonna port this game the right way.

…Yes it will have online play.
Only reason why CvS2 didn’t was because it was a Playstation Classic release or whatever.
