Anybody familiar with Darkstalkers knows that this is definitely one of the coolest, original, and fun fighters still to date. It hasn’t reached fever popularity though because some find it to be a very complex game, and I agree that it is a VERY deep game. Unlike a lot of other fighting games, MOST of the characters can give you a challenge. Sure there are always gonna be tiers, but this is one of the most balanced Capcom fighters to date.
Any plans for Capcom to release another sequal?

By the way, Daigo is a beast with Jedah… but I still don’t think Jedah is as dominating as Daigo made it look. Daigo dominated the competition… not Jedah. I’ve seen him make many of the other characters look as though they were the best too. The guy is just damned good at the game.
Check out the tourney footage at www.combovideos.com and go to the Daigo section of the Vampire Savior tournament. Rikuo and Morrigan were also impressive.

I didn’t get the bug for VS till about a month and a half ago. Now ive got evey one in Phoenix playing it.
We have quite the crew now. SaBr3 (yes that sbare) has a very strong Lei-Lei but he losses to me for free. Wheres my money BITCH!
Ive been using Bish exclusivly upuntil the last few days. I have never seen an unblockable and I am playing on the Jap CPS2 board. Can you please explain what is unblockable and how do I use it? I have heard in the past that his dashing LP was ublockable but i could never getit to work. Any help would be great.
Any way you would mind hosing some kind of a torrent for some VS vids you may have that some of us new guys have never seen? I have all the Savior_BF’s and Temptaiton 5v5’s. But i would love some more of any other tournies or casual play.

Anakaris was ranked top teir in my old Jedah’s Damnation strat guide. And how can Morrigan with all of her in your face moves, multiple specials/supers, be bottom either? Where are you seeing this info? Also, where could we find this BB Hood infinite you’re talkin’ about? Have you really even ever played this game? zabel can rush down like a fucking maniac, and his pokes are damn near unstoppable.
anakaris is slow ass in this game. he doesn’t have as much going for him as there should be, except a bunch of mind games. jedah can take care of him without even looking… sickles and c.mk is all jedah needs really… a few other things, but that’s primary… morrigan and lilith are just basic… there’s nothing special about them. but as already stated. the tiers in VS are VERY VERY vague, because it IS so balanced. some people consider aulbath to be bottom. some bishimon to be top… only thing i’m certain of, queen bee and sasquatch are definitely top tier.
anak is the only character that you can pressure without worry. While his game doesnt really need meter, he’s hella slow at building it. GCing needs meter, and he can’t tech hit, both of which are a hit to his defensive game. He has no good wakeup, and no normal throw. His rushdown is crazy good though.
morrigan is tiered less than lilith… tho iono why. i like her, but i trust in the general consensus that she’s low tier. lilith i can see why, victor I can see why. \

do you cancel your chains into s.rk alot? or go for more linking into fireball/unblockable?
First off, HyperViperDiaper is my brother. Second, he better not have edited any of my posts! Dude must have my password… LOL. Where did he edit my work, I can’t find it? I let him use my computer too since we’re both Capcom fighting fanatics, but we each have different user names and passwords. Maybe he didn’t log out and his info was already saved and I edited my own post under his name… I dunno know. But anyway, let me know where you saw it just in case he’s screwing with me. The dude thinks he can do anything just because he fights in the UFC. But I get the better of him in Street Fighter and Darkstalkers!

It’s funny how BB Hood was ranked bottom tier and Anakaris top tier when the game first came out. I guess rankings really do change?! Morrigam was ranked top in middle tier though, even though I think she’s a very effictive fighter. Also, Jedah must be top teir, No?
I have this sick 99% damage combo with Morrigan and I haven’t seen ANYONE else do it yet to this day. You need 2 super meters, and 3 meters really kicks butt.
I’ll list it once I find my strat book for the move names so that you’ll be able to follow it easier, but the combo isn’t in the book. The timing is a bit tricky but you’re partially invincible at the start of the combo as long as your opponent is on the ground (ducking or standing doesn’t matter). I’ll get back to anyone interested in this combo.
Don’t forget that BB Hood info though!

zabel is top because he has litterally no flaws. hella good rushdown, really good normals, good defense, unblockable(9th frame of jump lk), “bug” that allows him to air guard after doing a jump lp/mp, good damage, hella defensive and offensive options, fills meter fast, got uses for his supers…
from what i heard, people still can’t decide if he is the best char or if sasquatch is.
except for the 2-3 chars that have no standing frame while getting up, if you can time it right, you have a free unblockable(IAD lk). you can’t crouch block cuz it’s an overhead(and since you have one standing frame, you’d get hit anyway), you can’t stand guard cuz it’s an unblockable and you can’t reversal unless you have a 0 frame startup move. broken.
as for lilith being better than morrigan, it’s simple. hit confirm dash mp/lk into super(great damage) and builds meter faster… it simply means that she can fills meter all day long, and bam. random dash mp/mk = EX in your face. morrigan can’t do that.
Maybe I heard outdated/incorrect info, but I was under the impression Lilith was ranked pretty highly? Granted I don’t keep my ear to info on this game.

Its actualy quite easy. You just hit your opponent with an EX-FB just outside of the Cr.Short range and they will not be able to block it. Not much more to it. But it seams that if you do a block string into it say off of cr.short, cr.jab, cr.short link cr.strong xx ex-fb it can be blocked. I could be wrong about this.
