yo, erik, DS series is bloody lovely. I have a silly request, would it be possible for you to somehow fit some of their win quotes into the comic? VS has some of the best and funniest win quotes of any game. tho maybe thats just asking for an ugly comic(which I dont want).

Well Felicia has a stage in Las Vegas in the first two games & I remember her ending where she’s talking to TV reporters so, I say it’s closer to modern day.

I really hate to sound so negative, but i really found it sad sad sad that sakura’s ridiculously talented teenage girl story got stripped from her in such a way.
From what i gathered in the games, she used to watch ryu on tv and whatnot and learned the weaker version of the hadouken and the hurricane kick just by WATCHING, then when she got to meet ryu, she said 'hey, i learned all this stuff just from watching you, wont you train me mr ryu?" to which he said no, and probably assumed that she’d be more than capable training on her own.
Now, looking at her as a totally random girl who learns her stuff directly from ryu…just doesnt feel right.

however…chunz vs cammy was top tier!

Actually, the prodigy status that Sakura is given in the games sort of always irritated me, especially since Sean can try with all his might and never catch a break.

well, by the time sean comes around it is expected that everyone’s power lever or whathaveyou would be roughly TWICE what it was in the alpha days. remember, ryu and ken were in their late teens IIRC.

wellll the little slut did stand up to akuma to prove her worthiness of being trained. although i think the panel where her skirt lifted exposing her panties is REALLY wat made ryu want to spend more time with her.

I finally got a copy of #1 Darkstalkers today and I think that its pretty damn good, its much darker and more gothic than Street Fighter as it is meant to be, so the theme of DarkStalkers seems nicely captured to me. Nice intro’s to Pyron, Morrigan and Donnovan.
