New Game+ in feels pointless in this game. It’s not like DaS2 where there was different enemy placement, new mobs, new boss drops, new weapons/equipment/spells that can only be received in NG+. All there is for me is to not fuck up Sirris quest this time.
Ain’t there +2-+3 versions of rings?
There’s also that fused lothric sword but thats all I recall. I kinda do miss higher tier bosses giving different boss weapons though.
NG+ is really just about making the game harder. NG is easy and each + added to NG+ really just denotes the next step up in hard mode. With that said there are better versions of some of the rings to find in NG+ and NG++ and they are not hidden in the same spots as the other rings. But mostly if your not looking for a harder experience then NG+ isnt really for you.
I dont think its pointless tho, its for people like me who dont care about things like pvp and mainly focus on pve and want longevity with the product like pvpers get but arent interested in pvp.
everyone here needs to try Nioh, the alpha demo is up now on PS4, damn and I thought DS3 was hard, but nioh wth lol
Are the +2 and +3 rings required for the “collect all rings” trophy?
Nameless King fucked me up so many times. Lowest I’ve gotten him was to 30% health or so. Taking out the dragon is no problem, but the Nameless King kills me in two hits. He’s hard to dodge I find as well, some of his moves have crazy startup and I roll too early, then some moves he has are fast as hell and I roll too late.
Fuck it, going to try for the last boss tonight. I’ll see what ending(s) I can get, I think I have access to two different ones right now. Gotta switch things up, Nameless King is frustrating and is by far the hardest boss for me in this game next to the Abyss Watchers. I go from killing most bosses on my first shot, to getting absolutely destroyed by the Nameless King. There must be some kind of strategy for the boss…probably something simple like parry all his shit like the last boss in Dark Souls 1.
The only things that really changed in NG+ about the enemies in DSII was Freja and some additional red phantoms. Wasn’t much of a difference besides that.
boss weapons/spells like Moonlight GS and Flame weapon were only obtainable in NG+
maybe DS3 has something similar.
My main focus is PvE also. There’s no replay value for me playing it again on higher difficulty. I’ll settle on creating a new build.
Fuck this game.

I made it to Anor Londo. And what do I see? My good friend, one of my best pals that helped me out in DSI, lying dead on the floor. The giant blacksmith.
That’s just cruel.
Well i emphasized that it was for people looking for a hard mode. If that isnt what your looking for then sure its not for you.
Ive started 2 new builda myself by the way. Paladins just heading into Lothric Castle.
Fuck. Yes.
Probably my favorite Souls boss of all time. This was a really cool idea. People are getting so creative with this game.

Grand Archives.
Dungeon is the worst area in the game. Jailers are cancer.
Planning on making a jailer build at some point.
Lols will be had.
You can’t be a true Jailer until you look at people and make their HP shrink.
Im right near the end of the game and I now know for sure that in retrospect; the bosses have been the biggest downer for me. There’s some fun fights here and there but holy fuck, some of these bosses are total pushovers.
The last boss I fought really irked me:
[details=Spoiler]The motherfucking dragonslayer armor. A generic 2 swing with a variable 3rd hit enemy. I beat this shit on my 2nd try. If it weren’t for those dragons that shoot that OHKO…ball thing, this would even be more of a joke. Honorable mentions are demon king, wolnir, dancer(I had heard that she was one of the toughest bosses in the game and I beat her on my 4th try), vordt, giant rotting tree thing.
Aldrich is the worst offender IMO because the game talks so much about him and gets you all hyped up for the fight, which happens in the room where you fought freaking ornstein & smough…and then you get another ‘‘run in, hit, run away’’ generic battle. The bosses could have really used some polish.[/details]
