Dark Souls 3: Prepare to Die Once More

Been farming the infinite spawning NPC in Archdragon Peaks for an easy 7900 souls per kill. Ezpz farming spot.

Ugh they need to fix that. Shit happens 50% of the time when I’m the host.

Oh wow, I didn’t know you could hold a shield 2-handed. You can do it by holding down the Y button, or whatever button you use to wield a weapon with both hands.

I decided to re spec my bleed build and not put any points into Atn/Int at all. It was cool to have as a backup, but I really wasn’t using it much at all during PVP, so the build is a lot stronger this way

I fucked up Sirris quest line. I thought I was done with it after she swear alliance to me but I was wrong.

Somehow I managed to NOT screw up Sirris’s questline before I beat the game. After beating the game, I looked up how to finish it and did it pre-NG+. Then I went back and completed the quest that screws up her quest.

That boss fucked me up a bunch of times. I got him to 30% last night in his 2nd form which was my best attempt.

Him and the Abyss Watchers are the hardest bosses for me. I took out the rest of the games bosses on my first or second try. To be fair though, I had NPC summons for Pontyff and the Dragonslayer boss, so I’m not sure how those fights are 1v1.

Quest lines seem really finnicky in this game. Lucatiel and that other guy with the fake Moonlight GS in Dark Souls 2/Scholar were a hell of a lot easier to complete and a lot less time consuming than NPC quests in DSIII.

Speaking of Sirris there was a spot I was supposedly able to summon her, and if you do, she gives you a ring afterwards. I went back to that specific spot(the bridge to Ithryll where the dog chases you) and she wasn’t there. 99% sure I need that ring to complete the trophy for collecting all the rings.

You have to have not beaten the boss there, but beaten the dog and sat at the “Central” bonfire, then just to be safe, reload the area

yhorm the giant without the sword by his throne?

Nope, that would be the tedious boring and lame way to do it

i didn’t notice the object. the moment you walk in it’s like oh shit lock on big boss and focus on him. also it’s at the other side of the chamber in a bright spot. so i just shot his face with arrows then would run up and crit him lol.

still the easiest boss in the game next to the super scripted one in the nameless king area.

I did

Wonder if you can make a Nightmare (Soul Calibur) build. I know a Siegfried build is more feasible, but a Nightmare build would be p cray. Too bad there isn’t an armor set in the Dark Souls games that look like his. To be honest, I’d even do a Soul Calibur 1 build (doesn’t have the iconic crimson hair) if there are armor pieces that look close enough.

@SWBeta That might be doable in DaS2 maybe? Smelter Demon sword could work for the wep not sure about the armour though.

How does the blades of dark moon work? Like surely I should be able to join peeps getting shat on by Aldrich Faithfuls right?

Fire Witch Torso/Outrider Knight torso look slightly like that, you’d have to experiment with the legs and gauntlets though. Nightmare just isn’t possible atm, no sets look anything close to him and none of the greatswords come close to matching the blade.

I was watching Aris stream the game today and noticed his character was dodging in a way similar to the Old Hunters Bone in Bloodborne but the effect never seemed to wear off. What item allows this? I don’t mind spoilers.

It sounds like you are describing the Carthus Milkring. You find it in the Catacombs of Carthus

There not broken, they are just good, funny how the same people complain about estocs and the dark sword. These are the same people who used ninja flip ring katanas or havels mom hornet ring builds.

Or like how katanas have been the best weapons for pvp in every souls game, but anytime a weapon is just as good or better then katanas people complain.

Both estocs and dark swords are some of the easiest weapons in the game to parry.
