As I get more experienced with the game, this boss (and one other) continuously give me the most trouble. Still, I thought I’d put up the video for anyone interested:
Making progress isn’t difficult. My problem is obtaining all the loot in the area. That part is a huge pain in the fucking ass. Place drowns you in loot but most of it is guarded by huge monsters in groups that happen to inhabit the deep end of the swamp. If it wasn’t for that I would just grab and run.
DSIII is hilariously easy too. Only boss I didn’t beat on my first try was Deacon, and that’s because I went into that fight with a whopping two Estus Flasks.
i had way more trouble with any Bloodborne boss than i did any of Dark Souls 3 so far to the point where everyone feels like Pinwheel or the Last Giant.
Still running through my blind first playthrough, loving the game so far, havn’t looked up anything or watched any videos so i’m just going off what i can find in the environment and figure out myself. I picked thief class from the jump and maybe i’m just not leveling up correctly but it seems really weak. I’m onto the 4th or 5th region now and it takes forever to kill stuff with daggers cause all my time is spent building bleed and going for parry/backstab.
So far the game is feeling harder than bloodborne by a fair bit, but that might have to do with the class I chose.
Made it to the Catacombs. The skeletons here love to drop titanite shards. I probably have enough to get my most used weapons to +3. I found a few weapons that have decent scaling to both Dex and Str.
