I see dark souls 3 still doesnt have a proper default black skin tone character. Fucking filthy, racist japs. Hopefully you can make a properly brown/black character through skin tone options this go round, and not just some reddish brown shit.

Pursuer is so free once you have his moveset memorized and can dodge all of his attacks on reaction. I didn’t die a single time to any Pursuer in DSII: Scholar re-release.
Double Pursuer is a different story, though…

Never played dark souls 2. You shouldve bought the first one, the prepare to die edition, as the first dark souls seems to get hella more praise than the second one. If the controls are anything like dark souls 1, i dont see how theyre sluggish, and i mainly play fighters and hack and slash games. So good controls is always a high priority for me.
I’m hooked on dark souls. Almost finished the game, and gonna go ham on ng+ until dark souls 3 comes out. I’m mad im late to the party on this game, but better late than never. Dark souls is the game i always wanted, but never knew i wanted it, and ignored it when it was out because i thought it was another rpg with shitty combat.
I’ll probably buy dark souls 2 when 3 comes out. Wait for that steam sale again.
DS2L SOTFS gets really cheap on sale, it’s also way better optimized than the first game(on PC.)
Scholar of the first sin is a fine game. The 60fps is great on ps4.
I get the dislike on DS2 but I believe a few of those complaints were solved with the re release. With DS2 being the weakest release of the series imo it’s still better than 99% of the crap that is released today. The souls series in general is just fantastic.
I don’t think anyone has said that DS2 was a bad or even mediocre game. It just didn’t reach up to the bar the first game set , which isn’t much of a suprise considering how good DS1 is/was. If you wanna see a bad game just google “lords of the fallen” or go read whatever zoo says in VGG.
If i was Jimmy though, i’d play DS3 before DS2 though ,since it seems like the DS1 and DS3 will have…more of a…“connection”…

I would just be buying ds2. I wouldnt be playing it for months. I’m gonna just be playing ds3, sf5, and killer instinct for the rest of eternity. lol. Dark souls is such a perfect series, that id feel bad not having all 3. lol

Am i the only one that rarely wears armor? Like 70 percent of my playthrough so far has been without armor, and every boss except the first one has been without armor. I guess because i got overpowered early on, it didnt matter as much, but since my endurance isnt as beefy yet, i just hate being slow in certain armors. Having a heavy ass halbeard most of the game i guess doesnt help either. lol
Eh, i like collecting the armor, and i use it when i just wanna go through an area and slash the weaklings with ease, like in the depths, but in general im naked most of the time. Its taught me how to play teh game much better in a way though.
You’re not the only one. Once you learn how to roll, defense points from armor start to matter less and Fashion Souls starts to matter more.
