I actually think not being able to go to the Northern Lands is better. The stone being broken and disconnected permanently from the Nexus sells the power of the Fog. That land is gone. It is no more. The Colorless Fog has ruined it completely.

I’m guessing the access point will the the canvas painted by the Painting Loli? Seems very strange that they kind of leave her purpose and name unrevealed at the end of the Ashes of Ariandel. Of course the boss we see isn’t going to be the real final boss of the trailer, as per usual FromSoft antics.
Overall a cool trailer, but I think Ashes of Ariandel trailer was way more hype and polished. Still hype though!

Perhaps, but the two DLC are supposed to be connected lore-wise, so I figured it’s a possibility.
I think it’s more likely they are connected after the fact. Like maybe beating this one unlocks or does something there
Heck yeah! This is what I was waiting for this whole time. I haven’t actually beaten DS3 yet. I’ve saved the last boss and the Nameless King. I can’t wait until this comes out. The last DLC didn’t interest me nearly as much because it was so PVP focused.
