No, I’m specifically talking about the NPC that’s kneeling in a cathedral looking place, who hands a scrape of paper or canvas or something to the player character. Also, the painted world does have connection to the Cathedral through Aldritch.
Also, remember none of the DLCs are actually physically linked to the locations you access them from in past games. You always just end up teleporting there.
Wonder if the NPC directly takes us there or gives us the item to access the DLC. Probably the latter? I’m just wondering what level range the DLC will be.
With the DLC upon us, I decided to start up a new character. The Onyx Blade looks pretty dope, but it scales with Int/Faith. I want to make a melee oriented build for endgame PvP, but I have no idea how to go about it. Anyone got any tips/guides?
It will be hard to create a build for any DLC weapon without seeing it’s minimum requirements and the scaling. For instance we have things like the Gargoyle Flame Spear and Demon Greataxe that scale with int/fth but do near exact damage with a 40/40 at Base int/fth requirements
There’s already been some preview videos out of some of the DLC weapons, including their minimum requirements and scaling (although not max level scaling).
Considering the Onyx Blade scales with Int/Faith, it doesn’t really matter what the max scaling is going to be since those are the stats it scales best with anyways. I’ll have to see how heavy I want to invest into maxing its AR, but I want to see if I can focus more on melee than anything else.
