Ken really is great against Strider/doom. Reason is, if Ken hit’s anything, trap is over. If he hits doom, he takes doom all the way up and by the time he falls back down to earth, orb timer is up. Which is what you’re aiming for if you play ken assist, to hit doom. And obviously, if he hits strider during orb, trap is also over since the same thing will happen. Down side is the whiff, since he has invincibility, he won’t hit anything on his way up, and strider is free trap.
Not discussing team dynamics of how sent/cyc and storm/cyc are much better than inputting ken. Just comparing assists.
Ken stays on the screen too long.

Some ppl on here are just retarded with there crap about “OY ME SENT WUD TOTAL OWN STRIDER CAUSE HES GAY!!”, but some ppl on here are just new comers who would like to speculate about the matches. If it weren’t for spectators, and young blood always actin like they know how everything SHOULD have gone and how their strategy of replacing a key team member with the likes of cammy or ken would beat clock, then the gaming world wouldn’t be where its at now.
You know your better than them, you know clock would destroy em, you know that when your in a high stakes match, pressure can be a bigger influence then pure skill, so lets just let them live in their ignorant bliss.

Well, whenever I try strider doom, Pabs jerks around with his point character to the tune of 4 supers (with cable in the queue)…he waits until I do an animal with doom on him and then he counters…the counter gets stuffed, but normally my Strider and Doom also get hit…he recovers really quick and then goes into AHVB’s until my doom is dead…Of course I try to bait sometimes, but I always get involved in the trap and forget about Cable.
Strider has that dive forward move he can do in the air to get behind Cable as he’s coming down from the psimitar. I got no idea how you do it but the Strider/Doom player down here used to do it. Doom will probably eat the entire HVB but he won’t take 3 before you can save him.
So when are we gonna see the high quality matches? Youtube just doesn’t cut it for these things.

On another note, I think that videos that show the people playing as well as what’s happening on the screen helps players get their timing right when trying to learn from videos. It may be hard because of the constant facial expressions, but looking past that, people may be able to learn better with this style of video.
