Dark Prince aka Duc Jr. is officially banned from the Evo series

Thank god someone said it, that band sucks…

so for many people… seeing dark prince was their sole motivation of going to evo this year??

sorry, but that’s fucking retarded.

 at his myspace pic and getting banned from EVO. Sux fer him, and hype in general.

Trash talk and being competitive is one thing but I don’t see how some guys get so into it that physical violence is a potential result of attending tournies.

If someone is better than you at a game get better and show up next time and make them eat their words through your gameplay.

That aside: would’ve LOVED to see the whole Wong vs. DPC match with Wong using Ken/Jill/Rubyheart

crazy shit.

re-opened, discuss

Does this mean that me and DP’s 10 million dollar MM is canceled?

I might need an avatar of that in the future.

i brightened up the photo in photoshop… too disturbing…cause i cant tell if he is looking at the camera.

if he isnt, its the gayest shit in the world.

if he is, its the gayest shit in the world.

banning this guy is pointless as he is no threat to anybody or the Evo series. Realistically all cities and towns have their own version of DPC who relentlessly talk shit, but its just that he made the decision to take it more public by addressing his shit talk on youtube. I really think its a gay decision to ban the guy from a videogame tournament, for god sakes its videogames and theres nothing gangster about that seeing as 99% of the people on here are pussy holes.

The amount of scared people in this thread is astounding. You’re like old white women who lock their car doors when negros walk by. To play devil’s advocate, people do that shit every year. Phil is always about to fight someone. In the infamous wigfall vid, wigfall was the aggressive one. Sanford threatened to beat Bill up at evo east. And I can think of at least a few top players who have scrapped at tournaments. I agree that threats are dumb, but physical violence is an excuse. The staff just doesn’t like DPC. Call a spade a spade. You could solve the problem just as easily by patting him down at the door if you think he’s packing.

filler.

QFT!!! That about solves the prob /thread :wgrin:

In response to multiple posts

Talking violence isn’t “talking shit” for a fucking video game.
It wasn’t helping the scene, it was more like a termite.

People need to get the fuck over it, you don’t need that shit.

That’s kinda…
…gay…

may i ask who he threatened and how and when? i missed the latest drama.

and i don’t believe you need to ban mike chaos. if DPC is banned, chaos will not go.

What was DP going to do, bite us to death?

I was at the cal poly tourn, and nothing happened when DPC lost his MM’s. He even went forward with the following MVSC2 tourney. I think that this is getting a tad ridiculous.

You obviously weren’t the guy on the other end of the knife when that shit was pulled out at the cal poly tournament. Even though the guy didn’t stab anyone he did pull it out against someone many of us know. The only thing the kid had to do was put money where his mouth was ( which he did ) and beat the hell out of everyone he can that challenges him in the game. When you start saying you’re going to pull a genghis or whatever ( I don’t know the exact phrase he used ) that’s not something to ignore nor is it hype or funny.

Duc

Nah, I hear ya man, he shouldn’t be pulling knives. Its just ashame it turned out this way, I play third competitively, not MVSC2, but all this crazy shit brought me closer to paying attention to this game. Its just ashame and wasted talent, cause its not like people are questioning if he can play or not.

Who really cares if he is banned or not. I doubt he did much for the MVC2 community. The same people who will go to evo will go. And the people who say they will go cause of DP probably are all talk. In the end it makes no difference to the community as a whole. He can have all the money matches he wants by meeting will people in vegas and rockin MVC2 in hotel rooms, just as some of u have mentioned.
