Someone needs to update the Wiki for this game. A lot of the item descriptions are missing and some of the movelist information is a little… off.
I know everyone else has “lives” or something, but I don’t, so I’ll gladly fill in a few blanks here and there if it’ll help. Just figured I’d mention it before I decide to play God and start mucking things up.

How many people are playing on this on a CRT? I think it looks 10x better that way. I also like to turn on the smooth option so characters blend well with the background.
I play the game on a CRT with smoothing on. Good stuff. Makes it look a little more like the actual arcade version, aside from the bezels and all that.
Is there actually a difference between the three different button strengths when doing Mara’s 214214X or is it all just in my head? I use the B version for heavier characters and seem to have an easier time hitting them after the first two hits connect than when I do the A version. Maybe I’m just doing it that much slower or something.

I just bought this game this weekend, and I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised. With the game now being 1000 yen I decided to take a shot, and bought a japanese psn card from play-asia. It was really simple with the digital option for the card, and they emailed me the code within minutes of my order which was really convenient. The game is really fun, but I can’t seem to find any matches online. If anyone still plays or wants to play I’d be down for online or whatever, I live in new jersey. But yeah, definitely recommend this game to anyone who hasn’t bought it yet, it’s a refreshingly solid fighting game.
