i totally forgot to check the dates this was out. had no idea it came out today. it’ll be a while til i get to go to the comic store.
to those who got it, did you get it at a general bookstore like barnes and noble or borders? or did you pick it up at a comic store? just want to know what the odds are of finding it easy /early

i just hate the character.

Dark Avengers interview with Bendis. In before SRK goes down again lol!
Yeah i actually read that article earlier. Its gonna be interesting to see how the other avengers team reacts especially Clint, considering that the chick in the Young Avengers is Hawkeye too and someone as crazy as Bullseye is masquerading as him.
That was a pretty entertaining issue. Bendis does a great job with the protagonists and setting up the situation and everything. It’s nice to see the day evil won depicted with Osborn showing such controlled and menacing aplomb. I like it when everything goes right for the villains… Should be satisfying to see them get whooped on in a couple months during the next secret crisis crossover war.
And I am still amazed how good Deodato’s talking heads pages look compared to how he draws the tights and spandex stuff.

The Cup`O Matt (not Joe) this week had pages of what appeared to be the Dark Avengers vs Thor.
i thought at first it was just some of his thor pics and then s DA pic, but why would they put them together?

The only people Thor will have a tough time with would be Ares and Sentry. Everyone else would be annihilated.
I really liked Dark Avengers #1. Norman Osborn is drawn exactly like Tommy Lee Jones lol. I’m wondering who will be the Dark Avengers fight? The Thunderbolts? I wonder what Logan/Thor/Cap/etc have to say about all this.
Its cool to see Nick Fury isn’t just going to sit on his heels and watch the Green fucking Goblin take over too.
dark avengers is easily one of the best books i have read in a while.
Yeah it was definitely a great start. I enjoyed this much more than Mighty Avengers #1 or New Avengers #1.
Can’t wait to see em take on Morgana Le Fey, or even any other baddies.
Me and my friends were arguing over how ignorant the civilians are in the universe. Mostly because of how they are so easily convinced that Norman is a good guy. Personally I think they are just taking it too seriously.
