Hey guys this is the simple Bnb combo with Dante with me using the hit box
its obviously nothing new, im still learning dante. This video is just a proof of concept for using dante on the hit box.
as i learn new combos ill get to posting new things too =)
Care to elaborate a little on that?
Sure
Whenever I DHC Trick into Sentinel, instead of using Devil Trigger super to start it, I use Million Dollars which still causes the spin state but for some reason off of the first bullet/shot/hit and I know for sure it resets the damage.
Since, I ended the DHC Trick with Million Dollars can get extra damage and meter off a TAC back to Dante if I wanted to.
I picked this up from watching TwistedJago doing this with his Dante. Maybe Yipes as well. Not sure which tourney CEO maybe?
oh ok
I though you meant that million dollars could start the DHC glitch by itself
You gotta be careful with the million dollars DHC glitch though. I use it as well and sometimes when they’re too low before the first bullet hits them, the hitstun won’t be reset. I’ve had that happen a few times, I was mad salty.
you’re using a hitbox now? how is it? better? i used one at dons for like 5 minutes and i seriously didnt like it… but maybe i just needed to put more time in? how long did it take you to get familiar with it? i couldnt even do fireballs.

This is the first time I’ve ever posted in the Dante forum so I don’t know if this is already common knowledge here or not, but did you guys know about dante’s Acid Rain infinite? I just saw a video of it and it seems legit. Here it is:
Why wouldn’t you be able to TAC to Dante after a Devil Trigger DHC Glitch? And moreover, why are people viewing his DT state as a flaw? I’d love to be able to pop into DT mode for free.
Most people say the lack of meter gain during DT is disconcerting, but personally, I think the life gain(Dante’s probably my best character, and my team’s certainly centered around him, so him gaining some life is usually better than having a little bit of meter to work with) and small damage bonus make the whole situation kind of neutral.
Add to that the fact that the million dollars timing is slightly tighter(DT DHC glitching is stupid-easy, obv), and in the case of TAC’s, his ridiculous flight-combo options after a TAC? Or the fact that Double Jump -> Air Raid does so much to help him get out of falling into cornertrap scenarios when coming in after a KO. I knowingly use DT to DHC glitch, *especially *if I have any intention of TACing into him.
My biggest pro for glitching with Million Dollars, is that the timing naturally sets them up to be hit more solidly by hyper sodium force.
I mean, I’m just curious. Are the meter concerns centered aspirations of using his Level 3? I don’t use it that much, which may be why it concerns me less.
I’m pretty sure he just meant you get the meter, the way the sentence flows is a little confusing but that has to be it.
Actually most of this post was thinking about it in reverse. Oops. DHCing from either is viable.
Consider, though, that having Dante in DT means you have no safe DHC for wesker to get out.
Here’s some simple combos I made for my team Dante/Akuma/Wesker

The first ones are meant to be practical low execution ones and the later ones just go for damage.
you showed me the light lol, Im a dante player and knew some stuff but there are a couple of new things for me here…
didnt know that you could do dhc glitch after graple, and super juggling after aerial exchange on corner, I mean I coud get many many hits, but never think that devil trigger would open this possibilities
cool stuff man way to go!
gah omg Al, you changed your number!!! hit me back up i got so many things to tell you!
anyways, yeah i started using the hit box now, since i was wanted to be part of the team they took me up as PR rep/tourney rep. I remember talking to you about it a while back and how in theory its a stupid/hard concept to wrap my head around it, but i honestly tried it for 2 hours at this BBQ. Instantly fell in love with it and i took it to WNF ( 2 days of practice) and still took 9th and then played at reveLAtions with it. I picked it up relatively quick because i honestly had fun with it.
I honestly prefer it over stick and havent used a stick since that time. I wouldnt even bother with it if otherwise, stick feels so clunky and slow now that i have a real grasp over the hit box, i seldom miss my DP’s or motions in general.
The dante vid was honestly just a proof of concept for people to see me doing his Bnb on the hitbox, which was funny because i couldnt do dante combos for shit on a stick. it really helped out my general execution.
Well, just another CMV.

Nothing new but it shows some solid hitconfirms.
Probably old, but lol.

Well, Dante doesn’t need four bars and X-Factor to kill someone. If you’re really intent on using Level 1 X-Factor to KO, you should use your assists in the combo to do it in two bars instead, along the lines of Combo -> Super, XFC, Air Trick -> Hammer, Call Sent Drones -> Million Carats, Hammer, Call Taskmaster, Volcano -> Beehive -> Super.
It’s a good example of what you need to be able to do to get the most out of Dante, though.
