Lol thats annoying to block. I’m running wesker so I get straight unblockables if they aren’t expecting it. Love it but I’m gonna have to drop him soon I need space on my dante super team, which strider fits quite nicely on but he’s expendable.
Why do people dash over with jM or jH during the grapple unblockable? Would it still have the same effect if I had just jumped up/up forward and used jM or jH?

I assume it removes the spacing component of the cold shower setup (unless you’re in the corner that is) since it has lower float you just do it when they hit the wall (I use the same timing for both setups).
Random side note: I plink my Stinger BC Volcano’s when it’s on a ground bounced/aerial opponent. Nothing against him, but I believe Jago said he uses :s: + :atk: for his BC cancels. At Toryuken he was dropping the stinger portion of his groundbounce reset and going into raw bold move which I think it because of this input method. Plinking it gives you plenty of time execute it and I find it to be much more consistent.
I think it also helps to diminish random crossed-up stinger inputs since mine seem to auto-correct. I’ve had Dante turn around and Volcano xx Beehive them to finish the combo on more than one occasion.
Which bold cancels do you recommend plinking? I do the normal :s: + :atk: for all my bold cancels and it’s been fairly consistent, at least for my standards. (Which means I’m still missing it a lot more than I should be, lol.) Anything that will improve and ease the use of Dante will help.
I only plink for Stingers against groundbounced/aerial opponents and grapple resets. If you want to do some multi-lock glitch nonsense into a whiffed stinger bc reverb shock I would plink that too. For everything else I just use :s: + :atk: .
How do you convert if you hit an aerial opponent? Do you have to plink the BC Volcano after the Stinger? (I’m new to everything, so I don’t really understand what you would have to input to plink this or even if it’s the correct thing to do…)

you cut out the the stinger (bold cancel) volcano go for M - H - cH 1 hit - S~H~S or shot loops if it’s air to air M - H - bee hive is a good option if your at the right height. Dante has trouble converting damage in air to air a lot of players like to buffer air throw and try and get something off that. Options being mash H after air thrown in to an assist call then cancel in to hammer to get hard knock down and set up your usual oki combos or land twister million dollars.
If i want to save my groundbounce and wallbounce for a DHC into vergil is gun loops the way to go midscreen? My team is dante/vergil/magneto.
Everyone is saying to use killerbee to start the loop, is it possible without it? Im guessing midscreen i can build about 1 bar without gb+wb to get a dhc to vergil. What should i be doing in the corner, can you do loops in corner?
Yes, gun loops is the way to go off of most any confirm, and you don’t need Killer Bee to start it, all you need to do is lmh stinger BC j.m j.h air play j.h / st.S and do shot loops from there.
In the corner, the standard Dante BNB works, you just have to cut it short by canceling beehive into super before it uses the groundbounce.
I’ve seen somebody go: Hammer, volcano jc j.H airplay j.H st.H cr.H S into shot loops. Not sure about the corner shot loops thought.
In the corner, Rapid Slash and Rising Sun assists both let you get a Sky Dance > Beehive after a ground bounce. It’s great for building meter before the DHC.
Although you won’t be able to use Dante’s assist for Vergil’s part, which would probably result in more damage at the end. idk what extensions Dante gives, though

How do I cancel f+H into dp+M? I know it’s a bold cancel but I can’t figure the input out.
Stinger, do the bold cancel while buffering DP then press M.
I just do it raw really fast. f+H, ATK+S, dp+M. Easy enough for me.
