When the assist is so good that it’s helping me win matches when I’ve never even used the character before, it’s just time to learn how to use it
Dacid, have you switched Tron for Akuma? Seems tatsu assist is way more blow-up-able, but that’s one con among many pros I admit. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the comparison since I dabble in your team. Last night I played it with Sent in the back, just to try and get that sweet sweet hit of Spiral-Sent. Daddy just wanted a taste.

The third of my team is just counter pick. It’s probably not hard to believe that at starbase last night I was most successful with Wolverine/Dante/Akuma, compared to Dante/Task/(Tron/Akuma)
What you really need to do is play 2 characters you hate then Dante since your best character is always Tron/Akuma/level 3 users, and with level 3 your Dante would be best, ergo you should Do the Wes-factor strategy and have 2 sacrifices!

Orrrrrrrrr he could 2 two characters he LIKES but keep Dante in the back, that way he can maybe do some chip damage if he’s lucky, then lvl 3 Dante when the 1st 2 inevitably die quickly.

What you really want is Wolverine/Dante/Phoenix. Phoenix and Dante can both scoop after df.B OTG from Wolverine for some good ass combos. IMO this is the team that Daigo will probably bring to Evo.

Everytime I look in this thread I assume it’s like little girls talking to each other with the avs. LOL. Definitely needs more Haruki avs.
I would think it’d be a no-brainer that Logan/Sparda/Gouki works really well. Like really, by adding Dante in there, you’re just throwing some kerosene on that fire that is Best Friends. You’re giving Wolvie an OTG for combos, ANOTHER assist to help him get in, a character he can DHC into (Fatal Claw xx Jackpot/DT) and out of (Jackpot/DT xx BBX) really easily and safely, and godlike another point character for Akuma assist to steamroll over people with.
I run the team sometimes when Logan/Sparda/Robot gets boring. Still a stupid easy team to body people with.

It’s also Daigo’s team. If Daigo “Pick a top tier” Umehara is using your team, you’re doing it right.
I thought he only recently started using top tiers? I mean he’s always used high-ish tier, but it seems recently he’s been purposely going top.
In GG he used Sol, BB-> Ragna, Ryu for most sf games, Ken for 3s.
Maybe I’m mistaken, he dabbles a lot so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case; maybe america is to free for him and he uses tops in his homeland =\
