You can throw in an extra L in after the M M (in the M, M H drill super part) It only gives 3,000 more damage due to damage scaling, but since your combo uses X-factor it might be worth it. Just a thought though.

Also when looking for a second opener, i tried things like c.Lx5-6, c.M, H: it worked wonder but i couldn’t cancel the last drill into super.
I might not be fast enough in my inputs, but i also remembered about “hitstundecay” system: could it shorten the hitstun so much that FatalClaw wouldn’t connect?
I will check forums about this.

Why do so many hits?
You can hit confirm using cl m cm h s, then do a nice long combo like jm jm jh drill dive h s jm jm jh drill super for 640 damage, or end with jm jm jh in the corner without super for 585 damage.
I am having trouble with getting the second part after the launcher in the Guide’s first combo for Wolverine. I am too low by the time I cancel to Drill Claw from Air.H
It’s probably safe to assume you may need to delay your jump, or slow down the beginning of the combo in order to keep the opponent lower.
Are you talking about the brady-games guide?
Not everyone has it, so a lot of people have no idea what combo you are talking about, including me.

@ZanaOyakata, Try waiting until you get higher in the air to start the air combo. Try taking out the H before the S on the second launcher (on some characters it messes up the combo, like tron and small chars).
Alright, so messing around on my own I got this stuff:

but looking over this thread, it seems most of the people are using either L or M Berserker Barrages for Barrage loops. Neither seems to really do much damage, but do you make back the meter you spend on Charge doing the L/M loops?
You don’t get any meter while in berserker charge. The only time I use the barrage loop is to finish off the last character with BC+ XF. Other than that I mostly just go for a normal BnB without spending any meter.
oh, that explains why I wasn’t getting any meter, thought it was just something to do with training mode. bleh. doesn’t seem too useful outside of styling on someone/maybe making assist harder to see coming then. thanks.
BC loops are amazing if you can catch both the assist character and the point character. Does amazing damage then. If you XFC level 1 after your first barrage you can kill most normal health chars.
Also, standing sent loop is j.m j.m j.h j.s. Get about 2-3 loops in for a good chunk of damage.
hi wolverine forums. i’ve been in the lab with this guy. storm is the other part of my team for sure right now. still looking for the 3rd member (though i’ve been messing with dormammu). anyone got any ideas of who will blend well with storm and wolverine? i don’t want to use dante because i think he’s too technical for me right now.

still find it pretty amazing he can combo after drill claw into dive kick. basically means you can land over a half life damage combo on anyone from more than half the screen away.
Hey there i was wondering what the benefit is of doing the Barrage loop over the combo below.
jS,L,M,H,S,M,M,H,S+L,d H, H, H Barrage, Berserker Barrage X = 600,000 damage
If you do the same combo into level 3 it hits just over 900,000 damage. So far ive yet to get a barrage loop combo no matter how i do it to even hit those kind of numbers from a single bar.
I think im missing something 
Barrage loop is probably just going to be your kill combo once you catch their last character, considering its most potent incarnation requires KFC and a ton of meter and the damage it does under such circumstances is just redundant. If it’s still early in the match and you need to be conservative with your resources, the BnB will do you fine. It’s just good to know you’ve got a touch of death to avoid any level 3 X-factor shonen hero horseshit.
If you activate Berserker Charge in the middle of a combo, and then continue it, you stop gaining meter. Guess this is so it’s not just a free super.
Yeah, there’s a better combo than yours. Do this one instead.
L > M > H > S ^ M > M > H xx drill claw > d. H > land © > S ^ M > M > H xx drill claw xx Fatal Claw (does like ~640k, or something like that).
You can X factor before the 2nd launch to make it kill low health characters.
You can also do the barrage loop after the first combo, C xx berserker charge > bersker barrage x5 > mixup. Really I like it just cuz you can mix up off the end of it, whereas with a hyper combo you can’t do that. Also you can X factor and this combo will kill even high health chars like sentinel. Plus barrage loops are sexy as hell.

L > M -> L -> H xx L/M Beserker Slash/H Bersker Barrage xx Beserker Charge -> H xx drill claw xx drill claw > dive kick > C > S ^ M > M > H into [xx drill claw xx Fatal Claw] OR delayed S > land into either [Assist popup like dante/sent/wesker/hulk/etc] or [Projectile assist like Arthur~3M] > H Berserker Barrage xx Fatal Claw/Beserker Barrage X [latter can be X factored for lvl 3/another BBX].
For meterless I guess I just do No_Cigar’s combo above. I will try out those Barrage loops though. :x

I never seem to be able to get the J.H after the Drill Claw, been scratching my head as i can do every other wolverine combo but this one boggles me.
i can’t do j.h into drill claw either…not even getting close to it. i can hit j.m all day. probably has a bizarre timing.
