My Suggestions for Dan:
HCF+P: Godou Shoukouken - Same use as SVC:C
Ultra 2: Otoko Michi - Same use as SVC:C
CONFIRMED! Dan’s second Ultra is HAOH GADOUKEN!
Like Ryo’s Haoh Shokoken, and when Dan does it he goes flying back from RAW SAIKYO POWER!!!

Best part is as specs said “he goes flying back from RAW SAIKYO POWER!!!”
The stream is super laggy so it is hard to tell but did anyone notice anything new in his gameplay, combo, juggle etc? Other than the super awesome Haoh Gadoken that is, which has me friggin vibrating with anticipation.
I’m more than happy for this likely more comboable and equally hilarious Ultra.
But does his new ultra go full screen?
Don’t know how far it goes yet. Haven’t seen any videos of it whiffing.
Doesn’t matter, I think. It still looks like you can Koryuken FADC Ultra. Linked Koryuken after a recovered close s.MP is a 3-frame link. Easily hit-confirmable off of any medium and hard jumping normal, and a blocked s.MP leaves Dan with 0 frame advantage, so you can go for the Koryuken FADC anyhow as a mixup.
Also. Dan may be able to LP.Koryuken > Ultra if the opponent is taken out high enough. He can already link HK.Danku off of it.
Trade Koryuken > Ultra may be possible as well. Which should help the Gief matchup. We’ll see.

Considering that the alternative everyone was expecting was Otoko Michi (which is a parody of Vegeta’s explosion of death) I’m glad that we get a very good and very funny ultra. And if it can be FADC’d into from either his Gadoken, Koryuken or LK Danku is makes him immediately a mid-tier character. Hell, if it combos off of Gadoken then that gives him C.MK->Gadoken->FADC->C.MK->Gadoken->FADC->Ultra for the ultimate Shedanigan.
And it should bloody well cancel out of his Super Taunt too.
Props for the guy who spotted that. If SSF4 never makes it to PC, that move alone will force me to buy a PS3.
Panda, if that combo isn’t possible in SSFIV, I will kill an orphan because that is WAY to badass to not have in the game as a combo. And whether it cancels out of the Legendary Taunt or not, his new Ultra is amazing and hopefully gives Dan the boost he fucking deserves.
Nah the projectile’ll prob. be stationary but blow Dan away full screen.
If that’s true it’d probably be the safest (offensive) Ultra in the game
